In honor of the 10th anniversary of Free!, I've compiled a guide to the series!

Throughout the years, I've had friends mention to me that they've been interested in getting back into Free!, but they weren't sure where to start, since the content is scattered between the TV anime, movies, and other materials. I created this guide to help everyone navigate the series, whether you're a fan from the old days or brand new!

This guide lists a watch order for all major content in chronological order of release, plus provides some bonus content as well! I hope this guide will be useful for anyone who is interested in Free! Let's all enjoy the series together 🏊‍♂️

If I lose access to my blog I’m choosing @dandelionmeadow to be my messenger, so if she says I’ve gotten hacked, it’s true.

If you end up answering this message, you'll get some weird long message telling you that your account scammed them, and then instructions on how to report and resolve it by going through discord(???) or something.

The hacker changed my account email before sending out all these weird messages, so I couldn't do anything about it until support restored access to my account 😓 If you get a message like this please just ignore it and let your moot know on another platform if you can (since they might not have access to their account if the hacker changed the email address)

Thankfully Tumblr support was able to resolve it within a day (it seems like a known problem they're staying on top of) but I recommend you avoid going through this entirely and secure your accounts (including the email account you use to log in!)

When I first came to this country, looking at the ocean just relaxed me somehow. I talked big before I left Japan, but honestly I was really anxious at first. A country I didn't know. A city I didn't know. I didn't even know the language. Even though I'd know all that from the start, of course. Bur when I came here and saw the ocean, I felt calmer. Because I knew that just beyond it, you and Sousuke were there. My friends were there. I felt like it connected me to you guys.
