This new scan replaces our old one (Still in the archives if you look sharp). I’ll nitpick here because I have seen this one in person. The real painting looks deeper blue, almost Prussian Blue from a distance and the red is very red but not quite electrified like this one. I had mixed feelings about replacing our old scan, which was huge but low resolution. It was in some ways closer to the real colors, but it sort of looked old and dirty and lacked any tactile feeling of paint on a surface. This one is better. We’re not living in a perfect world, I’m told.
