something ive been thinking about lately is a couple, where one is very pregnant because the other is either really large or just a different species

I'm thinking about a crew of space mercenaries being hired by scientists for an expedition to a remote planet. The mercenaries are asked to investigate a cave where an alien egg nest is believed to be. When they investigate they find that there are no eggs nor signs of aliens. When they return to the headquarters of the scientists to report that they found nothing, they all miraculously start feeling ill and bloated. During a physical with one of the mercs the scientist finds that they are actually filled with eggs, likewise with the other mercs. And now the expedition has gone from planet exploring to monitoring a group of pregnant guns for hire who are just confused and wondering if they'll be paid well for this.

Some of the eggs die in the bellies of a handful of more lucky mercs, but for the tragic few others they become huge with alien eggs. One mercenary starts to transform, slowly growing strange appendages and tentacles, but most notably is how much bigger they are to the others. Huge egg filled belly and growing four pair of breasts, swollen with milk, or some kind of nourishing substance for the young. It's become obvious to the scientists that this one merc is turning into a Queen for the aliens to grow in, they'll spend the rest of their birthing aliens.

There is also locked body presentation. The first baby is head down and the second baby is breech. Both their bodies are next to each to her stacked up. The second baby would technically be breeched. So you’d start off crowning and then push both the bodies out then crown again for the breech baby.

This is arguably easier than locked twin heads but still brutal and probably really painful still

Crowning for each head at the start and end of the delivery sounds awesome and not to mention pushing 2 bodies out at the same time. It will be several hours of hell for me. I still love it though

I think in this world centaurs have a uterus in the top and horse half. A pregnancy starts in the top, human half before moving down into the horse half (with all the pain of a normal birth). Once that happens a centaur can get pregnant again with the top uterus free.

K up there is wearing a a sort of binder because he's embarrassed about the post-partum belly. He's also not happy about not being able to fit through doors anymore.

consider this:

centaurs have two wombs. one in the human half, one in the horse half. they are connected to one another, and they only have one vagina. when they get knocked up, it travels alllll the way up to the human half, and they grow the baby there for a while. after about 5-6 months, sometimes less with particularly big babies, the baby grows too big for the human womb, and the centaur starts experiencing "labor". they feel all the pain of contractions, transition, dilating, a whole ordeal for hours and hours, just like regular birth. only instead of coming all the way out, the baby just gets pushed (slowly, painfully) into the horse half. here it will continue growing for another 5-6 months, before being birthed for real. while their horse womb is occupied but their human womb is empty, they can get knocked up again, and be pregnant with babies in each womb <3
