So... I've been watching Voyager for some time now and I have a lot of weird feelings/thoughts I don't really know what to do with?? (just when you think you've mastered the WeirdTrek™ afterfeel...)

I'm just in season 2 and tell me why oh why did they have to put back to back 5 episodes that both punch you in the stomach with some ethical dilemma but also make you go "lmao silly trek. I love silly trek." like??? Just watched them 5 episodes in one sitting and now I feel as if an ocean wave had me tumbling underwater between the currents for a hot minute before spitting me out with seafoam in the eyes, and sand in the mouth and nose Like, I think that was intense and lowkey traumatic but also... I'm expected to just get up, go back to the shore and pretend nothing just happened?

I mean Threshold babies are one thing (you know, if, as either the captain or Paris you don't obsess about the whole... deal... and let your curiosity break you) but WAS NOT ready to see the intense interaction between both Janeways and casually think "oh I think I just understood the concept of self-cest and I think I agree 👀" also, did Vulcan philosophy just give me the Tools to master my fears??? Is the logic explained to children what will make my perspective shift? Or am I just a Vulcanless oldperson-child? And where do I even BEGIN with Tuvix????????
