YES, YOU’VE ANNOUNCED YOURSELF. WHAT DO YOU WANT?
Getting characters to meet and interact for the first time can be tough to play out.
Lots of people find the first meetings between strangers to be difficult to plan, or boring to play.
Reblog this if you don’t mind skipping the intro RP and instead jump-starting interactions by plotting out what relationship your characters might have, be they friends, enemies, lovers, antagonists, etc.
Misunderstood Villains/Anti-Hero Sentence Starters
“I didn’t do it for them!”
“How in the world did you misunderstood that?
“I killed them for a reason, or did the list of their wrongdoings mean little to you?”
“I did what I must.”
“Yes, I’m an arsonist, but nothing I burned wasn’t worth salvaging, I promise you that.”
“Of course I stole it- you know what they would have done with it if I hadn’t?!”
“You are fortunate that I at least know friend from foe- unlike yourself.”
“They knew to much and they never knew how to keep their mouth shut.”
“You are a fool if you think they would’ve let anyone in by simply knocking on their front door and asking.”
“Some people aren’t worth keeping alive.”
“If you learned how to dirty your hands every once in awhile, I would be out of a job.”
“If you’re here to scold me, save your breath.”
“They won’t be missed.”
“I have the information right here- since breaking and entering gives you hives.”
“Put it to good use.”
“I don’t sass you about your good behavior and you don’t sass me about my bad habits- agreed?”
“I am only a law-abiding citizen when there is a law worth abiding by.”
“Fine, I won’t kill them- but I will make them regret their decisions.”

Bear trap, cage, ropes, a tank - the manner of how they’re trapped is totally up to interpretation!
((Sorry y’all, I know I’ve got stuff to write and starters to make, but I ended up getting sick and having very little energy to do... well, much of anything. Thanks for being patient with me, once I’m feeling better I’ll be able to write at a much better clip.))

Warden walked forward through the snow, on what was hopefully, a normal patrol route. It was one of his least favorite activities, surprisingly- he would much rather be in Snowdin Proper than in the outskirts, keeping a watch for people stirring up trouble with other monsters, but at the same time he couldn't discount the importance here. Outside of town he was more likely to catch those in the act of a crime, keep tabs on the sentries, check for anything that might be suspicious...
And, apparently, keep an eye out for multiversal travelers. He had made it a quiet part of his job as captain to greet any new travelers, and make sure that they knew where they were- and what exactly they should expect if they wanted to live here. More importantly, he wanted to find people before his garbage brother did, knowing for sure that Sans would try recruiting them to Toriel's side, telling sob stories of the ‘bad conditions in town’ and ‘an oppressive guard.’
Lies, of course. They all just did their job- it wasn't Papyrus' fault that Sans was a criminal.
He breathed a quiet sigh, betraying no other sign of his inner thoughts. It was unlikely he'd find anyone anyways, there were impossible odds of it ever happening anyways. More than once. Or twice. Actually, he'd rather not think about the odds, because really the odds were ‘nearly certain’ that there'd be visitors from time to time, considering the nature of the multiverse. It really was unfortunate, but there was nothing he could do about that part of it.

Just another patrol. That’s what Papyrus was repeating in his head as he walked through the streets of the capital, trying to ignore the feeling that he was being watched, even here. He had to act like it was all the same, like his whole world hadn’t recently come crashing down on him and it was too late to get out of it.
Why had he agreed to work directly under Asgore- what had ever made him think they were a good person to begin with? Sans had warned him enough times, he knew, but he never listened. By now his brother had probably escaped to the ruins with whoever he could bring with him, and even if he hadn’t, it was unlikely Sans would have listened to what Papyrus wished he could say, that he was wrong.
He had never felt more alone in the underground.
Nowadays instead of hoping for something to happen, some way to prove his worth, he hoped for quiet days. He didn’t want to see anyone, didn’t want to keep pretending like he was fine, just the same as always. However, he had to, for his own sake, and sometimes for the sake of others. Papyrus knew that sometimes people wandered in accidentally, not just into the capital, but into the timeline itself. More than one encounter had proven that, and it really was the least he could do to try and keep them safe however possible.
Even if all he could offer was a warning.
((Hey there, if you don’t mind too much, would you please reblog this post? I’ve got an Underfell Papyrus RP blog here that I’d love to get some action on, as long as your willing to do a bit of reading.
