As ironic as it sounds, I feel like ever since I became a lifter I have become less materialistic. Only lifters would know that money doesn’t buy happiness. How many of us lift to fill a void and see that the problems are still there? It’s pathetic watching people chase over material goods… once you’re a lifter everything looks the same to you. You don’t place value on anything. You’re not idolizing material goods. It’s like the “materialistic” side of me is satiated and I can focus on other aspects of my life. Materialistic people think having expensive things is going to solve their problems. It feels good for a second to own something expensive and then you want the next thing. Lifting puts me in control; I’m no longer a slave to consumerism.

My local lu$hes are super easy and I’ve made friends the staff and they leave me alone when I’m shopping lol. This is 1/4 lu$hy hauls.

My husband bought me the Snow Fairy Spray, the snow fairy delight, Tarantula and sleepy bubble bar.

Also the sex bomb is broken bc I broke it and the staff let me have it for free lol.

nearly getting caught instances

i’ve been lifting for a while but i’m very new to liftblr and damn y’all are really good at being discreet 😭 i’m definitely a lot more careless when i lift (definitely stopping that now) so i wanted to share some of my mistakes which lead me to *almost* getting caught. these are all from over a year ago so don’t roast me i promise i’m not this dumb anymore.

I'm not even going to go into the fact that one of the people namedropped here in the post very stupidly posted a selfie on their account and how dangerous that is for them, because that is on THEM, and it ultimately only affects them.

I'm not active in this community anymore but I do still lurk and I do still look out for people who may be in danger of getting doxxed. but just be aware that it is ultimately in your hands to exhibit web safety.

If you don't want this to happen to you, I'd suggest following these tips that I don't see mentioned a lot

REMOVE METADATA from all photos you post. This is a no brainer but a LOT of people don't follow this no matter how much it's posted.

Don't post the names of stores you ĺift from that are extremely specific to the area you live in/near.

Don't overshare on your blog. I know we can feel very comfortable in this community, but there are rats everywhere. Nobody NEEDS to know your personal living situation, when your moving, where to, where you've lived in the past, etc.

Sorry for the super long post, but this is surprisingly a very common issue in this comm nowadays. As someone who's been here since ~2015, it sucks that people STILL don't know the basics of web safety and keeping your identity a secret. It's really not that hard.

Just wanted to let all my fellow dña baes know that V1ÇTORÎAS S3crēt does track your IP, checked where you live, and when I tried to use a VPN the bot in CS told me that I'd have to call. When I tried it without the VPN it worked just fine. They check where you live because my CS made sure to let me know that I only live a few miles away from the store when all I gave was an email. They're getting very difficult now, I suggest only doing them for semiannual salés!
