F this dumbass. Blitzo is wrong how he treats his employees but Stolas treats him worse and isn't a victim he's an obvious dumbass who is up his own ass and selfish. Being a condescending dick who only values someone for their body and treats them like a pet isn't praise.

En un reposteo anterior puse que en efecto, Blitzø es un imbécil con Millie y Moxxie, que hizo mal en robarle a Verosika y que no ha arreglado del todo sus vínculos pasados (Fizz y Barbie), incluso la misma serie le ha dado su merecido porque Blitzø abiertamente demuestra lo desgraciado que puede ser.

Mientras que Stolas es más sutil en cuanto a denigrar a otras personas se refiere y Blitzø es quien se lleva la peor parte (seguido de Octavia, Stella y la servidumbre). Stolas cuando le dice a Blitzø: "¡Yo nunca te he despreciado!" y se hace el indignado.

Para decirle: pajarraco, sí lo has hecho. Empecemos en "The Harvest Moon Festival" cuando le hace "cumplidos" al final de los Juegos del Dolor y de paso insulta a los Imps. En "Ozzie's" Blitzø estaba siendo humillado por Verosika y Fizz. ¿Lo defendiste? No. Ocultaste tu fea cara en el menú. En "Seeing Stars" en vez de calmar a Blitzø en su ataque de pánico, le dices lo grande que es su pene. En "Apology Tour" llamas a Blitzø hijo de puta (cuando escenas atrás dijiste que no pensabas mal de él). Y la cereza del pastel, en "Mastermind" insultaste a Blitzø y su raza. Y en el minisodio de reclutamiento lo miraste raro porque él no sabe el alfabeto.

No recuerdo haberle oído al plumero con patas elogiar a Blitzø de buena manera.

En serio, alguien debe cancelar a Nick, porque en sus publicaciones hay gente que apoya sus tonterías y a mí me funó por decir lo que pienso

I don’t hate Blitzø like I do Stolas, but it puts me off when some criticals on this site try and frame him as a “precious and sweet, innocent baby” as well. Like….no. Blitzø is a dickhead. He’s rude, loud, and stalks/harasses his co-workers, FFS. Ye, Blitzø is a victim, yes, Stolas is waaaaaay worse, yes Blitzø is caring….but no…he’s not a UwU innocent wittle bean who needs to be pwotected, and people claiming he is feels more like they’re falling for fanon.

I consider Blitz a baby in need of protection when you put him next to Stolas and the way the narrative treats him. He's a pretty hideous person and the show completely glosses over the absolute worst things he's done, like stealing Verosika's credit card and threatening to rape Moxxie and Millie.

No sé en qué se basa el anónimo que le escribió a Chai para decir que Blitzø es puesto como un "bebé inocente", pero que yo haya visto no es así.

En Facebook, X, Reddit e incluso Tik Tok he visto más publicaciones negativas a Blitzø que positivas, que aumentaron tras los estrenos de "The Full Moon" y "Apology Tour". Incluso desean que Blitzø muera en la serie.

Entiendo que se deba que a muchas personas la actitud de imbécil de Blitzø les parezca repelente. Acosa a Milie y Moxxie y no he olvidado cuando amenaza con violarlos si Moxxie le vuelve a disparar. También que es misógino con Millie, Verosika y otras mujeres (siendo sus excepciones Barbie, Loona y su madre). A Moxxie le da un trato pésimo (con insultos e insinuaciones sexuales), pero al menos Moxxie logró vengarse en el minisodio anterior. Dije: al chile que bueno. Blitzø, te lo mereces.

Es cierto que algunas acciones de Blitzø han sido pasadas por alto, pero recordemos que Barbie es la única personaje que no ha perdonado a Blitzø (incluso puedo añadir a Octavia, porque para ella Blitzø es la gata rompehogares). Verosika en "Apology Tour" le reclamó por no corresponder a sus sentimientos y en su debut menciona lo del robo a sus tarjetas y auto (y por esos motivos muchos justifican a Verosika que hace bien en organizar la fiesta Anti Blitzø). Yo tengo la esperanza que en la tercera temporada será Moxxie quien con justa razón le reclame a Blitzø por sus acciones y Brandon dijo que Blitzø la volverá a pasar mal cuando se toque su arco.

Blitzø sí y no ha recibido del todo su merecido, pero de que ha pagado las consecuencias, lo ha hecho. Y a pesar de que expuse esos puntos negativos, hay que admitir que Blitzø es un buen padre para Loona y que cuida a sus empleados en las misiones (protege a Moxxie cuando le da un dardo tranquilizante y se pone al frente de su equipo modo protector en "Truth Seekers", abre un portal para que Millie y Moxxie pudieran escapar en "Mission Chupacabras" y asumió la culpa para morir en "Mastermind").

Lo sé, Blitzø tiene mucho por recorrer para demostrar que está cambiando y no será tan imbécil a futuro.

Mientras que Stolas hace algo malo y buscan "justificarlo" con su solitario pasado, que fue infeliz en su matrimonio arreglado o con que padece depresión (y ahora TEPT) no "sabe lo que hace". O si está por tener consecuencias, basta que el pajarraco llore como nenita para que todos vayan a consolarlo y decirle que no lo merece.

Antes del estreno del último minisodio, muchos en X decían: "Es parte del desarrollo de personaje de Stolas que esté viendo al verdadero Blitzø"...

Pon tú que sí, pero si a mí me lo preguntan, la decepción de Stolas es debido a que ahora que pasa tiempo con Blitzø, lo está conociendo de verdad. No hay trato o intercambio de"prestar" el Grimorio por sexo cada luna llena y la "chispa" se está agotando. Blitzø no es como el que escribe en sus fantasias pedorras o producto de su idealización y quizá le aterra aceptar que no valió la pena perder sus poderes, privilegios y en especial a Octavia por el pene de Blitzø; al grado de que no soportará más esa "vida" que hará lo que fuera para recuperar lo que pueda.

En "The Full Moon" ví algo que me pareció un poco triste: cuando C.H.E.R.U.B.S. logra ir al infierno y se da un enfrentamiento con I.M.P., Loona, Millie y Moxxie seguían a Blitzø y no porque les preocupara su jefe. Quizá para asegurarse que él no la cagara y así ellos puedan seguir teniendo comida en sus mesas. Y luego con el primer tráiler, los tres junto a Blitzø han olvidado que el pajarraco les hizo la vida complicada y son su paño de lágrimas.

Cuando Millie lo consuela y le dice: "ya eres uno de nosotros", ahí dije: Millie, querida, dudo mucho que Stolas los vea como iguales. tbh Stolas really is the funhouse mirror version of the guy from Obsession: he wished to have Blitz as his boyfriend, got exactly what he wanted and more (Blitz being his live in butler despite complaining about being treated that exact way several eps prior) and now the side effect is being poor and Blitz is actually a person with a job and flaws and responsibilities, he's decided he doesn't want it anymore

Even the creep from Obsession would say "What a fucking creep."

I know I don't usually do "reviews" or talk much about plot centered criticism (representation is usually what I go for), but upon watching this short, I had a surprising amount of thoughts and feelings about it. So I figured it could be interesting! Let me know if you guys would like to hear more of this from me^^

Either way, on to my thoughts abt the short:

- if there's a SINGLE MORE MLM FREAKY SCENE of some RANDOM ASS CHARACTERS I'm fucking losing it. They're not beating the "underrepresenting sapphic relationships and keeping them """chaste""" argument before their billionth example of "freaky gay men as a punchline™".

- Stolas is such a painful Viv self insert in my eyes. It's so clear why he's her favorite and how hard she projects onto him this episode.

- in correlation to the former, I know it's the writing team putting all the quirks and cliches possible in a short bc there's the fun of the episode. But at the same time, it's so painfully clear how all these tropes—from the way the action packed scenes are written, to the dialogue, twists, characters, the cheesy one liners—are patterns the writing team itself is guilty of.

Therefore, I personally can't find any genuine enjoyment if the episode that's supposed to be the "purposefully badly written fanfic by the characters" is almost the exact same as any other episode of the show. To me, it fails tremendously at self awareness via pulling the same tricks they've shown in the plot itself, and keeping that very low bar of quality rather than having a compromise towards making a decent or even well written narrative. This "self awareness" only shows that they KNOW what they might be doing wrong in the show, and actively choose to ignore it with the excuse of "having fun with it" (saying that fun is subjective, but that it is an extremely bad excuse to justify writing a terrible story via implying that well written stories aren't "fun to make". Also clarifying that this is the unofficial, personal conclusion that I get from this, as a viewer.)

- There was a HUUGE missed chance to make Stolas use fiction as a coping mechanism towards his seemingly acquired trauma about the whole Striker thing (talking abt one very specific scene that had the exact same setup). And at the very least SHOW PREVIOUS SIGNS OF THAT HAPPENING. But fuck me for connecting the dots ig.

- Also worth mentioning the Stolitz fanservice of "wow look at how much Stolas exacerbated how cool and badass blitz is!! Isn't that cute?" falls very flat imo. It's just tried so hard. And there could've been a really great chance to delve into whether or not Stolas romanticized Blitz's job, as he did romanticize his entire being in that one S3 snippet of his dreams. It could've really been a nice chance to show how Stolas genuinely idealized so much the report and had fun with Moxie, only for the latter to actually realize that Stolas GENUINELY romanticized all that and didn't see the gruel or extremely unsavory side of it all. And even worse, STILL held a notable preference towards romanticizing the working class itself.

- The relationship between Moxie and Stolas was very cute. Unfortunately, it's also something that I can't fully enjoy due to the trillion plot holes and missing development between the "autonomous hitman of an independent business struggling with keeping his job due to classicism and social stigma" and the "extremely classicist character who's lost all power and is now within the same business". The narrative simply wanted them to get along, and so they did. Although it may be cute, it is bland and "easy going" bc the writers want everyone to be fond of Stolas, rather than having him work towards being a better person and treating others right or even ACKNOWLEDGING that he may need to gain other's trust or that not everyone will support him due to his background and actitudes.

- major nitpick but I'm already so tired of the supposed "wow guys look they're besties on equal standing!" whilst Moxie is consistently calling Stolas "your highness" with the latter not correcting him. Ever.

If they really WERE getting closer, then Stolas—if he's as nice as the plot wants us to believe—would tell Moxie to call him just by his name. Because Stolas has absolutely nothing! He's not nobility anymore, he has no eldritch powers, no social political, social or economic power—his birth given status and title has been removed!

Why is he allowing his supposed "equals in the working environment" to still treat him as nobility when he's not?! (This makes for a great anti-stolas analysis, but also for a critique towards the writing bc they want us to see Stolas as just the same as the workers at I.M.P even though they make no effort towards addressing the former power imbalance/differing class experiences in their "pro working class show" smh)

- I am so glad I pirated it and no longer support SH nor Viv ♥️

Es un excelente análisis.

En X como Facebook o Tik Tok señalan que Stolas y Moxxie son buenos amigos, pero coincido con este/a usuario/a con no poderlo disfrutar y compartir dicha opinión. Pues, a diferencia de muchos yo no he olvidado que Stolas sigue sin mostrar agradecimiento de las dos veces que Millie y Moxxie le salvaron su emplumado trasero y la primera vez fue grosero con ambos.

Moxxie lo llama "Su Alteza" y Stolas no hace nada para corregirlo y mucho menos llama a Moxxie por su nombre. Todo el minisodio es de ambos tratando de hacer un reporte creíble, pero a la vez muestra que Stolas es alguien apegado a la fantasía y la pornografía por querer meter a la fuerza un "triángulo amoroso" entre el objetivo, su pareja y el mesero (no sé porqué me da la impresión que eso es un "spoiler" de lo que veremos en la tercera temporada y los dos candidatos que se me ocurren son Vassago o el incubo de la fiesta Anti Blitzø). Aparte de que él ve a Blitzø como alguien "musculoso y súper varonil".

El cliché del francotirador es una alegoría a Striker en "Western Energy". Lo del objetivo secuestrado y atado es quizá Stolas imaginándose en esa situación y en su mundo, Blitzø sí va a su rescate, pero, todo se arruina cuando decide que Blitzø mata al francotirador y al objetivo.

Luego, sumemos que a Moxxie le asquea cuando Blitzø hace gestos o comentarios sexuales. ¿Por qué no hizo lo mismo cuando Stolas le muestra su cuaderno de cuentos donde está escrito su porno? Digo, debería serle incómodo que el pajarraco plasme así a su jefe, pero no. El objetivo es que Stolas sea mostrado como el "pobrecito búho UwU solitario" que se puede ganar a las personas sin el más mínimo esfuerzo.

Y si hay un problema más adelante, Moxxie será el primero en ponerse del lado de Stolas. Ya lo veo venir

Stolas Sacrificing Himself Was A Stupid Ass Decision

It was more about performing a grand gesture rather than actually trying to solve an issue and he just had to actually out his wife for the set up instead of just this bs cover story. Seriously, all of this wouldn't have to happen and wouldn't have broken his relationship with his daughter.

Todo lo que hizo Stolas en "Mastermind" me pareció estúpido e innecesario:

Se supone que en "Apology Tour" terminó su "relación" cuando Stolas cantó "All 2 U", en su embriaguez le dijo a Blitzø lo que quería con cualquiera menos él y al final se besó de lengua (de sólo acordarme me da mucho asco 🤢) con el primer fulano que le habló bonito... Para que tres Doritos después en su canción pedorra diga que Blitzø es su "luz".

Luego, ¿por qué hace acto de presencia en el juicio, si se supone que a esas alturas Blitzø ya no le importa? Si las circunstancias fueran otras ni de chiste se hubiera enterado, pero dió la "casualidad" que estaba comiendo cereal y viendo sus telenovelas para decir: "dulce Lucifer", toma su capa y va al "rescate". Aunque muchos vieron "lindo" que Stolas detuviera al Reaper y en sus pupilas se formaron corazones (cosa que yo no ví por más que traté), su expresión para mí dice todo lo opuesto. Es como si dijera: "¿Ahora que estupidez hiciste y me obligaste a estar aquí?"

Aquí viene la escena que me da risa. Cuando el pajarraco dice: "diré todo de la única manera que sé: con una canción". Tanto Blitzø como el Reaper alzaron una ceja y Blitzø se estrella la frente contra la tabla en la que está sujeto, diciéndo "estoy jodido". Hasta yo dije: "no mames, Stolas. Esto es cosa seria y tú la vas a cagar más 🤦🏻‍♀️". Y en efecto, la cagó, porque en vez de decir la verdad del trato, los abusos que Stella le hizo padecer en su matrimonio y que contrató a Striker para matarlo, se puso a cantar pendejadas y de paso insultar tanto a Blitzø como a los Imps. Y eso que según él jamás ha despreciado a la lagartija toda estúpida y no lo veía por debajo del hombro. Pendejo.

Y aún así sabiendo que el juicio es televisado, le importó un rábano si Octavia lo estuviera viendo cuando le dió por poner su cabeza para ser decapitado... Cosa que no iba a pasar, ya que Satan le dijo que al ser de la realeza no se le aplicaría la pena capital y se usó para despistar. Al final (gracias a que Satan para dar castigos es un completo incompetente y escuchó al idiota de Andrealphus), su "castigo" es cien años sin poderes y privilegios. Hasta ahí se acordó de que Octavia existe. Nuevamente, pendejo.

Por los dos tráileres de la tercera temporada todo parece indicar que Stolas se arrepiente de lo que hizo y que no valió la pena perder todo por un pene. Ultra pendejo

Similarities between Stella and Beatrice Horseman: Forced to marry someone they don’t love and have a baby they didn’t want.

Differences: Stella’s marriage was arranged when they were children and a heir was nonnegotiable. Stella received an education required of her status to pass down to Octavia.

Beatrice Horseman her marriage to Butterscotch and her pregnancy was preventable, she couldn’t mostly due to her trauma around her parents. Her abuse towards Bojack was told by Bojack and shown through flashbacks. Her father didn’t want her to get a higher education, her father sent her to college to essentially to be taught to be a good housewife, but she got a college degree (I don’t remember). Beatrice when she was a child was lowkey threatened by her father to behave or she would be like her lobotomized mother. Beatrice mainly slept with Butterscotch to get out of her father’s party which was to find her a husband, her last act of rebellion that ruined her life. Her only act of kindness was to Hollyhock’s mother.

Its a type of complexity not afforded to Stella and what viv superficially understands.

Beatrice crece con la "crianza" machista de su padre, inseguridades por una rival de su escuela y el peor "consejo" que le dió su madre después de la lobotomización: "nunca ames a nadie como yo amé a Crackerjack". Para mí esas palabras fueron la condena en el futuro para Bojack.

Tampoco recuerdo de qué se graduó Beatrice, pero era alguien bien informada sobre acontecimientos de movimientos sociales con tal de hacer enojar a su padre cuando la compromete con el hijo de un empresario que se dedica a la elaboración de crema para café, al cual conoce en su fiesta de presentación ante la sociedad. El tipo le parece aburrido y cuando ve a Butterscotch colado en el bar al principio iba a correrlo, pero al final se acuesta con él. Al quedar embarazada se le dió la opción de interrumpir, pero por el trauma de su infancia (cuando contrae escarlatina, su padre ordena quemar sus cosas y él mismo arroja a la chimenea el caballo bebé de peluche de Beatrice), decide tener al bebé y casarse. Con el pasar del tiempo, Beatrice odia a Butterscotch y Bojack por igual (aunque con Bojack no deja de decirle que él le arruinó la vida y que espera que repare el daño que "ocasionó").

Lo irónico es que la historia estaba por repetirse cuando Henrietta (su ama de llaves) queda embarazada de Butterscotch y el muy cobarde le pide a Beatrice que le solucione el "problema". Lo hace a cambio de que renuncie a su hija para que no sea infeliz como ella y luche por su sueño de ser enfermera. A veces me pregunto si no fuera por el Alzheimer cómo habría sido para Beatrice si llegase a reconocer a Hollyhock.

Ojalá en la tercera temporada de HB se le dedique un capítulo a Stella. No me convence que sea plasmada como "malvada" de nacimiento sólo porque en una fotografía está ahorcando a sus mascotas y el intento de bofetada que le iba a dar al pajarraco en "The Circus". Mi explicación al porqué Stella es "mala" se debe a que sus padres sin pensarlo dos veces la comprometieron con un príncipe con tal de elevar su estatus en sociedad, luego Andrealphus que la insulta y hace comentarios incestuosos para ocultar su homosexualidad (se teoriza que abusó de Stella), trató de amar a Octavia pero no pudo porque la tuvo contra su voluntad (y quizá por parecerse más a Stolas) y encima le fueron infiel en su propia casa.

Stella merece contar su lado de la historia y no centrar todo en Stolas

Stolas, el búho que piensa con la cloaca. El mismo que prefirió pensar en satisfacer sus necesidades sexuales, hipersexualizar a su "pareja" en sus fantasias y escritos pedorros y ahora tiene a alguien que no le asqueará leer cómo plasma a su jefe (Moxxie), debió ser una sorpresa gigante (y no lo dije con sarcasmo)
