((... Could not resist after I saw the M!A.)) Brent had been nearby when he heard the sharp cry, and curiosity set in at what made Warren sound so hurt this time. Following the voice, he peeked around the corner and saw Warren. "... Did you get shot?"

Warren was fighing back tears as he ried o find somehing to make a splint when Brent found him. “What? You weren’t around so no I was not shot. ” He grumbled. “Something jus broke both my arms..”

She looked at Brent suspiciously. “Do I want to know?” 

He grumbled at thank you and quickly pulled away. “Are you sure I cannot have more than one drink? I think this has earned me a third..”

"Lets just say it was for one of the guys in a sect I was with, and I looked great. And no. No more alcohol for you. Unless you break your legs." He kept behind Warren, watching him go up the stairs and making sure in case he fell again.

Warren arched an eyebrow in surprise. "Where do I sign up to see that?" He chuckled, now boarding on drunk and saying things he would rather hide from anyone else's knowledge. Scoffing, Warren started stumbling up the stairs. "M' perfectly fine. I can handle m's liquor. "

  Lizzie had lifted her head to look at Warren, taking her little hands and squishing his cheeks so she could get a good look at him. “…You got old.” She pouted.

"Yeah, suppose I did. And yer still cuter than a button." He grinned, hugging the girl even tighter.

Sarah smiled at the sight, and Daniel giggled softly, both looking to each other. “We ought to leave them alone…” Sarah whispered, Daniel nodding in agreement. This was a family thing, and they were still outsiders. So, still holding onto her hand, Daniel started to lead them both out of the study to let Warren and Lizzie have their time.

They stayed in the parlor for an hour just talking. Warren tried to give the the least graphic idea of what had happened to him, but not including anything about Copper. Lizzie was a bright child and understood what he was trying to say. Finally they came out of the parlor, Lizzie still in his arms.

"WHO WANTS DINNER?!" They yelled together.

Sarah and Daniel would be found in the parlor, on the floor in front of the fire with Sarah reading out loud to him from The Picture of Dorian Gray as Daniel rested his head on her shoulder, looking at the words as she read. But when they heard the other pair calling out, Sarah looked up, marking their spot in the book with a piece of ribbon.

Daniel stood up first, offering a hand to Sarah to help her up before leaving the parlor. Walking together it wouldn’t take them long to find Warren and Lizzie again. “Well you two are certainly loud. I’m pretty sure most of the block could hear you.” Sarah said as they approached, giggling.

"Then most of the block gets dinner!" Lizzie proclaimed with her little fist held high.

"Ya’d make quite th’ activist, lil’ one." Warren chuckled, letting his old accent flow freely, a mixture of Irish and Cockney.

Daniel laughed, Sarah shaking her head in mild amusement. “She would. But I don’t think we can feed the entire block.”

"Ahhh..." the little girl pouted with annoyance. When she was with Mama and Papa everyone on the street came over with food and there were always big feasts.

"C ' Mon Lil one let's get you some food. The people on this street don't like to share like they did back in Dublin." Warren kissed her head then started walking to the dining room.

  "Thanks! I like way more than Elizabeth." She stuck her tongue out at her formal name, obviously not fond of it.

Warren had been completely lost in thought, watching the young girl before her. Little Lizzie was here, laughing and happy and alive. At some point tears had started falling from her eyes, but she only noticed when Sarah spoke up. “H-Huh?” She quickly wiped her eyes looking a Sarah. “What did you say? I didn’t hear you my um..mind was else where.”

"Well, um, I can see why. Lizzie is a lot, um, more fun to say than Elizabeth." He said with a chuckle, absolutely drowning the sheer amount of bubbly joy coming off of practically everyone in the room.

Sarah had quickly noticed the tears in Warren’s eyes, pulling out a small handkerchief from her dress and reaching up to help dab away the tears. “I just said it looked like they were having fun, that’s all… You wanna go join them?” She figured Warren would want to spend as much time as humanly possible with Lizzie, since she only had a week…

"I think so too!" The child giggled with glee. 

"R-Right yes! Lets um—" Warren took a step forward only to be shrouded in grey smoke again. When it cleared he was a man again.

Lizzie turned around just in time, her wide blue eyes doubling in size. “P-Papa?” She uttered confused. That stabbed Warren right in the heart, and he had to bite not to break down in tears.

"N-No, I’m not Papa..It’s me. It’s Warren. C’mon Lil’ Lyin’ Lizzie, I can’t look that much different." Hearing the nickname the girl got a look of complete awe on her face before running to Warren and wrapping her arms around his legs.

"I-It’s you! It’s really you!" She said into his pant leg. Warren knelt down and held Lizzie close, never wanting to let go.

Both Sarah and Daniel looked over when the smoke suddenly engulfed Warren, Sarah taking a step away and Daniel standing up, worried about what was going on before the smoke cleared and they both visibly relaxed.

Watching as Lizzie ran over to Warren, both smiled softly, Sarah taking another step away and heading over to Daniel, not wanting to ruin the moment between the siblings. Without a word, she reached over and took Daniel’s hand, giving it a little squeeze. And Daniel would be able to feel the calm, pure love radiating off of her as she watched Warren and Lizzie embrace, just like he could feel the love of the siblings as it practically filled the room.

"Don’t make me drug you." The now woman grumbled as she trudged up the stairs. "This is the most ridiculous dress! How do they walk in these things!?!" Warren yelped as he stumbled, trying to hold up the dress without hurting his arms more.

"Hey, don’t ask me. Been a while since I wore a skirt. Or heels." Given the tone of his voice, it was hard to tell if he was joking or not. He did catch Warren by the hips when she stumbled backwards, keeping her upright. He was ever so tempted to tease Warren again, but decided not to this time.
