 When I first saw the steel/ghost typing I knew it wasn’t going to be fun. Initially, all I could think of was a silly haunted metal lawn ornament :P I did so many sketches trying to figure SOMETHING out… especially for fearow (which was an every bigger nightmare) At some point I realized that I could get away with an Egyptian theme but even after that it was still a struggle.

Platypull - Shock Pokémon

Ability - Magnet Pull / Surge Surfer (Hidden)

Evolves into Magnetreme when levelled up holding a Metal Coat.

It produces such a strong magnetic field that bits of metal are attracted to it. When it dives underwater, it even sometimes unearths valuable ore.

Magnetreme - Metal Armor Pokémon

Type - Electric / Steel

Ability - Magnet Pull / Surge Surfer (Hidden)

It bends the metal it attracts into body armour for itself to protect itself from foes. It’s always seeking out stronger pieces of metal to reinforce its armour or to replace older parts.
