money only is fun when you have it and I donât think thatâs fair
Dude, you know Iâm doing bad when I escape to tumblr.
real big trauma mood is crying for 5 minutes once every six months and then going back to repressing every emotion
Anybody else literally yelling âomg stop!â in your head when you notice yourself picking your skin but itâs impossible to actually make yourself stop?
physical (and psychological) punishment should NEVER be part of any education. it doesnât teach children how to behave, but how to be afraid for their safety every time they fail. itâs not a parents right, because parents do not own their children. they are supposed to protect them at all costs and not to traumatize them for a lifetime. sure, parenting is fucking hard. but being a kid is too, itâs even harder, because sometimes the people who should protect you become the ones you are most afraid of while being told to respect them no matter what. respect is to be earned, we donât owe our parents anything they didnât fight for.
Itâs not your fault, never was. You didnât deserve any of this. You deserved better. You are worthy of love.
itâs been a long way for me to realise saying ânoâ isnât rude - itâs a boundary that Iâm allowed set.
sometimes my therapist just looks at me and says âthat sounds like a lot to handle, especially for a little kid. Doesnât it?â and it hits me every f***ing time
