They’re void buddies.

Zenith is the brand new cryptid child and DreamStrider was sketched up a couple years ago. They’re both pretty much the same type of creature/entity, very similar in appearance and mysterious nature. They both also can’t talk. DS chirps and moves their hands a lot while Zenith remains silent and creates mini magic stars to form words and symbols.

So Zenith likes to hop around between dimensions and would even phase in and out of reality. It can also manipulate the void around it and do a bit of magic while outside the void. DreamStrider likes to chill in a brighter ‘anti-void’ space but could also travel through dreams of others, using their magic to help keep them as peaceful/fun dreams.

As a pirate rapscallion, Tex has been in some Scary Situations™ often enough to be pretty used to them. Fibra less so, but he’s also fairly sure his boss will get him out of this.
