He pulls away and opens the fridge, searching for something else to eat. “What’s wrong I thought you liked bacon and eggs?” you said confused. “I do!” He replied quickly, “It’s just– I feel like I've been gaining weight lately.” Mark tries not to look you in the eye, with his skin all scarred you can barely see his cheeks flush with embarrassment.

You frown hearing this and set the two plates down on the table and walk over to him, you put your hand up to cup his face. You’re looking him deeply in the eyes, and no matter how hard he tries, he just can’t look away from you.

“Mark, listen to me when I say this, you are the most beautiful person I have ever met.” “Ever since we were kids, I’ve always thought that.” Mark frowns slightly, “But we’re not kids anymore, I don’t look like that anymore, I don’t even look human.”

“Mark since the moment we met I couldn’t get over your beauty, you’re loyal, compassionate, and understanding. Those are just some things I love about you, inside and out you’re very beautiful to me, and you always will be.”

For a couple seconds Mark is just quietly staring at you, then and a blur his lips are on your lips. You pull away for air and circle around Mark till your chest to waist with him and wrapping your arms around his torso.

You use both hands and grab the slight pudge that’s sticking out, “Besides what’s wrong with having some extra weight, I think it makes you look even sexier.” He twists his head and you both share a loving kiss. “So I’ve been told.” Mark teases “And I’ll keep telling you, for as long as I have to.” You finish the sentence with another kiss then grab his hand, guiding him to the table.

“Now come eat the meal I so tirelessly slaved over.” Mark smiles and rolls his eyes, “Alright alright I’m coming.” He says, trying to sound annoyed but finding it hard with the smile growing on his face and his heartbeat beating in his ears.

Mark sits across from you at the table, now just enjoying each other's company, after a couple minutes he notices you staring. "Something wrong?" "No, you say smiling, I just love watching you eat."
