for this bi visibility month, pls remember to include gnc bisexual people in your posts.
when talking about lgbt people and their history of using pronouns that aren’t expected of their gender, include he/him bi women and she/her bi men.
talk about bisexual people who use they/them pronouns and neopronouns, those that are nonbinary and those that aren’t.
when talking about how a persons relationship to gender can be impacted by their sexuality, remember bisexual people.
talk about gnc bisexual people who are androgynous, and talk about those that aren’t.
talk about gnc bisexual people who label themselves (tomme/damme, etc) and those that don’t.
talk about gnc trans bisexual people. talk about disabled gnc bisexual people, and gnc bisexual people of color.
too often people discuss the bisexual community as if our relationships to gender and gender expression are on par with cisheteronormative standards. bi women are expected to be “available” to men and therefore present feminine at all times, bi men are accused of using their sexuality and any ~feminine~ traits to “trick” women, and nonbinary bisexual people are ignored entirely. this september, please remember us and especially our most visible members.
