“He was odd. That stone faced assassin with the perfect record. There was no job he wouldn’t take, but he killed with mercy, always. And he cried, every time.”

—————————————-
The assassin always kept his head down after every kill. It would happen at night. He’d kill someone swiftly in their sleep and then start a fire to burn the evidence.
He never seemed to wear a smile.
Tears would stream down his face. You can’t discuss Death with this man without having to deal with his cries.
He received his cases at night and carried it out the night after, so he wouldn’t deal with the constant thought of the kill.
The blue of the ocean calmed him down, always helping dismiss his thoughts.
He always prayed at the shore. No one knows why, but I like to think that it’s because of the souls he’s taken.
I know this man is the assassin, and yet, the police can’t find evidence to prove he is the assassin.
Despite the overflowing sorrow, this man still works.
If every drop of the blood of his victims haunts him so much, if the sound of crackling flames and crimson life terrifies him so much, why is he still an assassin?
Still, the tears of an assassin are so rare...
Seeing this man cry tells me he is a good man, despite his crimes.
What an odd assassin...
