tonia doesn’t celebrate christmas ( more like, no idea what that even is ), but, she does have a special date which is a tradition she began in the household to make handmade items for her family members and give it to them. For her older siblings, she always makes a good luck charm, always praying for the tsaritsa’s blessing so that they can work and travel in safety, for the younger ones she makes a warm sweater or a scarf... anthon is always wearing a different scarf each year because tonia made it for him. ( she also has sent scarves for ajax, saying that wherever he is, to not catch a cold. ). For her father... she makes paintings for him, to which he never says anything... but still hangs the paintings in his bedroom. A visit to the graveyard for mom and a beautiful bouquet... also a new scarf to wrap around the tombstone.

the date itself has no name for tonia, she simply wants to give gifts to her family that she spent months making it and does not expect anything in return ( although... it’s very unlikely that her siblings would not return the gesture. )

for her twin ( @/abyssmalice ) she makes a whole new dress for her each year, always making pretty designs that her beloved sister deserves.

TONIA’S DESIGN

─ tonia has a fluffy ginger / orange hair colour that goes a bit past her shoulders and sometimes she ties into a bun, her eyes are as blue as the sky and she is covered in freckles just like anthon ( except that unlike her brothers, her body is free from scars. ), she is small ( height is around 5′2′’ ) but very strong for her size ( most women of the family can carry their own weight just fine, tonia is no exception of that. she could fight if she put effort into it, but prefers not to. watch her carry heavy wood back home for the fireplace while also holding teucer. );

tonia’s dress is something similar to this, except that it’s pure white in colour ( she also wears a cape and sometimes a scarf that are equally white. ) preferring not to add any colours to her outfit ever.

tonia dreams of one day visiting somewhere warm where she can dress more lighter clothes... as ajax says, in snezhnaya you can die standing due to the cold.

“ sis!! ” tonia beams as she swings her hand alongside her sister, agreeing that just holding hands was boring - her sister could truly make anything fun! “ swoosh! ”

“ ... ” tonia fidgets. “ i want to hold hands with someone. ” her hand is cold.

regarding the fatui, tonia knows the necessary about them ( pretty much what every snezhnayan knows and needs to know ), she worries deeply for ajax but she’s already past the time she used to ask big brother to not go, by now all she does is wish him a safe trip and pray to the cryo archon to bless him with protection and to ensure he always comes home, as there’s nothing she can do about it.

much like anthon, tonia DOES NOT know about the foul legacy or anything regarding ajax’s connection with the abyss from when he was 14 yrs old, in fact, she barely remembers that period herself. it’s best for both siblings that they do not learn about that, anyways.
