As someone who really likes makeup but hates being wasteful, I bought the silicone makeup sponge. First impression was that it was going to be perfect and I wouldn't be wasting too much of my liquid foundation. I recived it in the mail a couple of days ago and finally got around to using it. It's a really interesting idea and it does somewhat work but you have to put in a lot more work into blending. When I first put my foundation on the "sponge" I thought it was going to come right off the the whole contraption. I put it on my face and tried to put it on three spots of face (cheeks and forehead). If you are not careful with how much you put on certain parts of your face then you might have to add more makeup to the sponge therefore making it use more product. It also didn't blend as smoothly has my brushes or beauty blender. When you did put it on you really had to go at your face and make sure you get all of the creases of the nose. Overall it was kind of hard to use and I wouldn't recommend it. I perfer the smooth effects of my brushes and my beauty blender. This product was around $9 but I would save that money and buy something else.
