i've seen couple of places now suddenly talking about barkov taking part in that UN women campaign and i feel like they are all missing the key info which is while it is about all women (and everybody else, as he said in his interview. no harassing of anyone is allowed.) this campaign is focused on finland. finland currently ranks no.1 in europe in domestic violence cases, 57% of women report having dealth with dv at some point in their lives. and that is just reports, real numbers are even higher. also just this year almost 20 women have been killed by their either ex-male partner or current male partner. so with this campaign that he is part of they are calling men to take action against it. to make living in finland safer for women.
