Funny how Chloé did some bullying, was classist and had one racist take (not saying those things aren't bad) but even though she showed reasons to be doing that just for attention she never got from her mother and showing she wanted and COULD change, but she's an irredeemable monster that should go to hell and would never want or could change.
Meanwhile, Felix can:
SA ladybug
Disguise as Adrien just to make his friends hate him ON THE DAY OF HIS MOTHER'S DEATH
Betray ladybug's trust by giving Gabriel THE WHOLE MIRACULOUS BOX
Kidnap Kagami
COMMIT A GENOCIDE
By the way the last two were treated, respectively, as a romantic action and couple development and to say he's suffering and redeem him
And he's a poor little baby that would never cause any harm and deserves a miraculous.
Don't get me started on Gabriel's arc idk why Marinette is giving him any ounce of respect
Oh and no we do not consider derision canon in this household. You're allowed to not like Chloe but even Kim was made dirty
Some miraculous fans love blaming 14 year old girls for being a victim of adult men’s decisions.
back on my analyzing Chloé thing
just based on my observations:
Miracle-Net AU
Essentially, it's a crossover world of Miraculous Ladybug and Megaman Battle Network.
Follows the same story as MLB, but with Net-Navi’s instead of Miraculous. Kids go to future school for fashion and advancements of technology and net life.
One day, a virus known as the Akumatization virus, or Aku-V, starts showing up around Paris. A virus that when in contact with Navi cause them to go wild and transforms them into wild Aku-V.
One day, Marinette, Adrien and their Navi Tiki and Plagg find a random system called the Miracle System where the last person that worked on it was a man named Fu. Using the machine, they transform their Navi into combat Navi Ladybug and Noire. Using the power of the Miracle System they fight rogue Aku-V and purify them from the virus’ clutches, all the while trying to figure out who or what is behind the spreading virus.
All miraculous holders have Navi instead, and all navis’ personalities are essentially the Kwami’s mixed with the hero personas. Progressingly each one being a member
Chloe and Zoe have separate versions of Pollen, Chloe's being the former and Zoe having Nectar as hers.
It’s essentially the same villain of the week format mixed with unique locations and more Megamanesque designs for the Akuma and Heroes. With different heroes usually in the rotation depending on the episode.
I think Felix and Chloe should be redeemed on-screen, not off-screen.
I think Queen of the Dread Zone was important to the character even if not the plot.
For Marinette, she laughs off Chloe dismissively to show she meant what she said in "Revolution" about her former tormentor losing any power over her.
For Sabrina, it follows up on Daddycop where seeing Chloe one last time affirms to her that it really is time for her to move on.
I do think Noe's words about Chloe as an influencer indicates that his "half-of-a-sister" will be useful to his smear campaign of Ladybug to come. Lord knows that the Bee Community will get a few new subscribers when that powder keg goes boom.
what’s your opinion on audrey? do you think there is a particular reason why she doesn’t seem to care about her kids except noe?
I mean despite how little we've seen of Audrey with all her children (QOTDZ was wasted potential), the obvious thing is that Audrey is an objectively bad person and a neglectful mother that only loves her kids when they are useful to her in some way. Noé? He is older, he runs a company, he is part of The Kingdom. He is successful, so he is the golden child, so she shows him her affection. Chloé, who desperately seeks her approval by trying to be like her (and it's obvious that both Audrey and André are very much at fault for the way she is), only gets said affection when she is useful; other than that, Audrey doesn't care or gets mad if she feels Chloé is embarrassing her. And since she no longer even tries to seek her mom's approval and doesn't have a "purpose" to her, Zoé is completely ignored. If it was reversed, if it were Zoé or Chloé who joined The Kingdom while Noé did nothing, then one of her daughters would be the golden child and Noé would get the Zoé or Chloé treatment. Because, again, Audrey is just a bad mother that doesn't care about her own kids unless they're useful to her. Simple.
Queen of the Dreadzone 👑🐝😈
Bourgeois Family
Cause I, like everyone else, am frustrated with Chloe's treatment, Andre's alleged "good guy" arc and Zoé's NPC existence here's a suggestion to handle their fates (there's no s5 in Ba Sing Se)
A deep core of Andre's character is his cowardice. He can't stand up to his own wife who only throws words at him & is barely there in their life anyway, nor can he discipline his own daughter cause she scares him. Yet he has no trouble swinging his power at people inferior to him. He has a spine if he wants but whatever he does is motivated mostly by fear - he threatens to fire the principal -> cause Chloe told him so -> cause he's afraid of her. He stood up to Audrey too prior s5 in "Heart Hunter" for instance but he still forces himself to stay in the marriage, he doesn't request a divorce -> cause he's afraid of Audrey. Hence it was very ooc for him to suddenly grow the spine of the spines and dismiss both Audrey & Chloe, take in Zoé (his wife's affair child) and give up his position of mayor to chase his long buried dream all at once.
Chloe is a product of her environment. She can & should be held accountable for her own actions, that's legit. Two truth can exist at once. There's no doubt her parents were a heavy influence on her to become what we know - the spoiled entitled brat. Audrey left when she was little, had an affair only a few months after her birth just to get pregnant again, was mia most her life, when she was there she never gave a shit about her existence regardless how hard Chloe tried to appeal to her. In the other corner we got Andre - coward, favourite hobby power abuse, throws money & items at his child to keep them happy on surface level like she's some Tamagotchi, never set her limits, can't parent for shit. Chloe misses affection.
Zoé...honey you got introduced 5 years ago in s4 and you still ain't relevant. We know nothing about her father except according to Audrey he tends to prioritise his work. This comes from Audrey though which can be translated to "he doesn't give me his undivided attention 24/7." In any way he's non-existent, Audrey hardly remembers the personified consequence of her affair. The bottom line is Zoé's virtually an orphan. She has confidence issues and struggles to fit in. Underneath she cares deeply maybe too much which leads to her struggle to be her unfiltered self instead looks for approval, ready to change up her entire person. Barbie Princess Charm School style - she has character but lacks confidence. As deep as this all sounds her mere role is to be "Chloe if she was an angel" + the token lesbian. You can positively hear them tick off "Marinette's lesbian entourage" from their list.
So what can we do about them? Hmmm
You know what? Let Andre divorce Audrey from his own will. Let him grow that much spine for that moment. He takes all his courage, speaks it out loud and it finally happens. Hardly believe Audrey's so in love with their marriage so she's furious HE commands HER (How dare he!? He's fired) but doesn't put up much of a fight. After that, like the coward he is, he runs. He's aware he took a big step and now there comes the next challenge shoved right into his face - custody. Audrey sure as hell won't take Chloe, he's the father. He gets extra cautious around her since this change is untouched territory. At one point he snaps and leaves. Chloe finds a note one morning with some half-baked apology and realizes she's left all alone. Their butler Armand, like the foster father he is, takes in Chloe for the time being - who knows Andre might come back.
No, instead it's Zoé who arrives with her father to Paris. Numerous reasons - she feels unwell at her school (bullying), Mr Lee wants to get away from Audrey and get his daughter away from her bad influence, the foreign language he learnt & Zoé's learning is French, he has a friend in Paris who can help them out, he wants a change in his career, Lee and his daughter enjoy traveling. What they don't know is or better said didn't account for is meeting Audrey's first child. He knew she had a life in Paris but he never was curious enough to research where (trying his hardest to avoid any news related to Audrey, it was a bad one night stand after which she dropped a child on him). The greater surprise is finding Chloe left all alone. Her father gone, only their butler taking care of her. Armand, against Chloe's will, allows them to stay in the hotel until they decide what to do. In short they stay for good and Chloe & Zoé unexpectedly warm up to each other. Andre returns one day out of pity but finds strangers in his hotel. Mr Lee & Armand talk the situation out and they come to an agreement - he's allowed to see Chloe from time to time but Lee takes custody while Armand remains to help out. Andre can have his hotel back since it's his property so they move to a smaller apartment. Chloe learns to live with less luxury and Zoé hones her self-esteem (you gotta with Chloe so close to you + new school, new chances).
Oh the joys of inventing ways to give new life to existent garbage 🥹
Chloe (a fictional character) is in a one-sided fight with directors who use her as a punching bag to feel better about themselves
It's so ironic because Chloe refers to Marinette as a punching-bag, but they're doing the same thing to Chloe 😭
I have genuinely never seen such vitriol towards a teenage girl before
apparently noe is encouraging Chloe to be mean so he can evilize Paris or whatever, so Chloe is again the evil irredeemable character who is following the adults footsteps which she knows will ditch her (just like Andre did) if she doesn't follow their expectations of her, alright then
Yeep. Chloé has literally been in the care/control pf bad influences her entire life. Andre, Gabriel, Audrey, Lila, Noe. Lets blame the child though!
In any discussion about Felix and Chloe and redemption I hate when folks are like "he choose to change" he didn't choose shit, he's not real; neither is real and neither can make their own decisions, Felix only chose to change because the writers wanted him to change but not Chloe
The question fans are asking: Why did the writers felt Felix deserved a redemption (and André, and Natalie, and Gabriel...) but not Chloe?
I know it’s deliberate unfair, but we need a theory of this and *sighs* people refusing to change issues.

remember watching the miraculous ladybug in arabic version aka mbc 3(only arabic people understand that) in my childhood but then I noticed chloe has changed her personality which I wasn't very happy about it like why in the hell Thomas changing her so much for no reason and I nearly cried when sabrina thanking her for some reason...
I was a victim of bullying all throughout my school years AND I'm a Chloe fan. Yes, we exist.
