I already blew off steam and ranted plenty after watching it, and to summarise..

This is Derision levels of hypocrisy - being an abuse victim is no excuse for bullying, but stalking and obsessiveness are excused by trauma; refusing to let go and move one from your old enemies is petty and a sign of a weak, angry person, but the shows creator can dedicate at least one episode per shows season, to shit on his least favourite character and target a fanbase surrounding her FOR YEARS after her character assassination in canon

I liked Sabrina confronting her abuser and moving on, but it had to be ruined by Marinettes edgy aah laughter and corny zingers in response - you’re NOT taugh, lil bro😭✌️

You could physically see the writing quality taking a deep for this particular episode, which happens every time Thomas pushes his own agenda no matter what

This is JUST a season 5 Chloe ark rehash - this episode serves NO PURPOSE outside those few Lila and Noe involving scenes

Im not even that huge of a fan of Chloe, but this pettiness makes me want to be one with intensity out of pure spite. You’ll never make me hate her, Astruc - how about you touch some grass instead of arguing with your fanbase on Twitter 24/7

I can’t believe this. We saw season six finale where Marinette gets akumatized again because of this. I can’t believe my eyes while I saw multiple posts from social media Chloe is still irredeemable and refuses to change to no reveal to no resolution and now Alya and Marinette’s friendship is ended. Looks like Thomas Astruc won the battle and win the war. That’s it, man. Game over, man. Game over. The Akumas ruled season six and the cliffhanger is already here. I hear The Undertaker theme songs after season six finale.

So, I was watching Jesse Golo’s video on Adrian’s friendship with Chloe and how nonexistent it is and has practically always been and an epiphany hit me.

Wouldn’t it be better for both Adrian and Chloe’s characters if Adrian was the one to reach out to her and give her the bee in Maledictator so she can prove herself? Part of me believes not really cause the outcome would be the same, but I think the thought is nice.

With all this debate of Thomas Astruc’s poor writing decisions, particularly with Chloe in Queen of the Dreadzone. It reminded me of an old thought I had.

We all know the rumour that Chloe was based off of an old bully of Thomas’s. And is that true? No, most likely not.

But with the way he’s interacted with fans recently when discussing her, and the way her character has been written in the last few years…I can see why people believe it could be true.

The way he keeps being baiting into arguing about her. How he’s refused to acknowledge she’s being exploited and abused by every adult around her. (I rewatched Penalteam and Hawkmoth calling Chloe “his favourite striker” will never not be weird) and how he’s started bashing her fans in the show. It all comes off as very personal. He’s got a personal grudge against her and her fans.

So if someone who was new to miraculous, as of now (god help them if they are) watched the entire show and then got told about the rumour. I wouldn’t blame them if they believed it.
