This laid me OUT.
There sure has been a lot of racism in the media lately. Between the Charleston church shootings, Obama using the N-word on TV to make a point about racism, the Confederate Flag debacle in South Carolina, FOX News…just FOX News in general, and now Don Lemon holding up a sign with the N-word on CNN, racism is a hot topic…again! The reality is, it never went anywhere. The quote above, from “A Different World” (Episode “Cats In The Cradle”, from season 5), held very true in 1992 when it aired, and it holds true today in 2015. Racism doesn’t seem to be going anywhere. Neither will sexism, homophobia and transphobia. That’s society for you…
and more….
