BOOK OF THE WEEK.
Hey guys! So I’ve recently been obsessed with this book, it’s called Women In This Town. It’s basically a bunch of pictures of street fashion in different cities around the world. It gives you a different perspective on things. Like where you live wearing leggings could be super weird but somewhere else it could be in everyone’s wardrobe. What I love about this book is just how eye opening it is… Makes you think that it doesn’t really matter what society says about what you should wear. The only thing that matters is what you think. Forget the rules…if you like it wear it. Side note the fashion in Madrid is everything.
CURRENT SKIN CARE ROUTINE.
Hey guys, I get asked a lot by friends and family even some random people when shopping what kind of foundation/makeup I have on.... To be honest it doesn’t really matter what brand of foundation that you have on if you don’t have a decent skin care routine.
So first off my all time favourite makeup remover is hands down the Burts Bees Makeup Removing Pads in Pink Grapefruit! Honestly they not only to get allllll of my makeup off, but they are unbelievably refreshing. Also they are a little bit more on the pricey side, but trust me they are totally worth every penny!
On to step 2! Ocean Salt By Lush. Oh My God. This stuff is actually my life. It exfoliates your skin like crazy. It is pretty intense so I only use it every other day. It also just smells like your on vacation; definitely a must try!
Step 3! Breath of Fresh Air By Lush. I obviously love Lush. I’ve never really liked toners before I always thought that they made my skin look gross and oily.... Until I discovered this gem. This toner is super hydrating and extremely moisturizing. Hands down one of my fave toners everrrr.
And finally, step 4. Lise Watier HydraSmart 3D Hydration. THIS STUFF IS CRAZY. This is my life in the summer, but honestly, you need this in your life especially in the winter time. My skin would actually look like snakeskin in this cold dry air if it weren’t for this stuff. I apply this every night before bed, and i wake up with my skin looking super smooth and hydrated. Lise Watier has stepped up her game like crazy with her Hydration 3D line, definitely a must have.
I have combination skin. It’s always been hard for me to find product that actually worked for my skin type, nothing would help having at time oily, sometimes super dry, sometimes absolutely normal skin.... but these seem to have done a good job for me so far! They even help with preventing intense breakouts.
Well there you go. That is my skin care routine. If you have any questions regarding any of these steps/ products just let me know I’d be more than happy to answer your questions.

SOON
Hey guys, it's been way too long that I've posted anything on here; stay tuned for more exciting posts on fashion and beauty , and of course more tips and tricks for your every day beauty regiment! xx
Another Hair Post!
So this is the L'Oreal EverSleek Sulfate-Free Smoothing System Shampoo and Conditioner.
These two specialize in frizz control for up to 48 hours! What's awesome about these products is the fact that they're silicone free and they're actually vegan which is awesome. I've been using this combo for about a month and I definitely seen a difference in my hair. (check out my last post on hair growth to see the benefits of washing your hair properly.)
Basically shampooing your scalp and not all of your hair and conditioning from the ear down and not all over your head. This will promote health and hair growth!
I'm a nut when it comes to buying shampoos and conditioners. I will actually spend an hour in the hair aisle smelling every shampoo and reading all the labels, I don't know what it is but I always do that. That was up until a few weeks ago, I was in the biggest rush and these products happened to be on sale. So I bought them without really smelling them or reading the labels or anything, I had just moved and really just wanted to take a shower ha-ha.
So I did notice that yes since it is silicone and sulfate-free, the shampoo doesn't foam up as much as others, but what's awesome is that you can feel your hair get slightly stronger once you rinse everything out at the end. My hair is naturally curly, but since I started flat ironing my hair a few years back, my hair has turned more to the wavy side... which kind of sucked because that kind of just showed how damaged my hair was. (you can check my last post again for more hair tips that'll help in growth and health) and ever since I started used these two, my hair is completely restore and healthy. My hair is curly again yay!
Bottom line here I guess is that this stuff rocks and I don't really see myself using any other shampoos or conditioners other than these for a little while at least, since I love switching it up. But this line in the L'Oreal brand is wonderful and you guys should for sure try it if you're looking for some extra 'oumf' in your hair again.(it's also quite inexpensive....$5-6?)
10/10!!
Update.
Hey Guys!

All About Hair Growth!
Hey guys, so I’ve been growing out my hair since like July and I kind of know what works and what doesn’t….well for my hair at least!
Ever since I started the things I’m going to share with you, my hair has grown sooooooo much!
alright so here we go!
1. NO MORE HEAT.
This is a lot harder than you think. I went about two months and a half without using any heat in my hair, my hair is naturally curly so I would usually just put my hair in a braid or in a bun. If you use heat on your hair everyday maybe try just using heat every two days, then maybe just twice a week, and then maybe just once a week and then once every two weeks and finally maybe even just once a month.
It’ll be easier for you to stop using so much heat in our hair if you slowly ease into it, but you can always just do what I did and stop all together for a little while and bring life back to your hair asap!
2. DON’T WASH YOUR HAIR EVER DAY.
I can’t stress this enough. Your scalp produces natural oils that it needs to stay healthy and if you wash it out of your hair every day it’ll just make your hair a whole lot more dry. Try washing your hair every two days. I personally wash my hair about 3 times a week.
Also, when you wash your hair focus mainly on your scalp. Lightly massage the shampoo onto your scalp for about a minute or so and then rinse it all out. Why? The scalp is usually the dirtiest part of our hair and once you rinse it out the rest of the shampoo will fall onto the rest of your hair anyway.
When it comes to conditioner I personally just apply some to the ends of my hair (ear down). Because the scalp already produces essential oils.
3. USE AN OLD T-SHIRT TO DRY YOUR HAIR.
When I first heard about this I thought it was so weird but it's actually amazing! By doing this it really prevents a lot of frizzyness to your hair!
4. BE GENTLE WITH YOUR HAIR.
It's important to be gentle with your hair if you're pulling and tugging it it won't be in its healthiest state!
5.DO NOT BRUSH YOUR HAIR WHEN IT IS WET.
Your hair is super weak when it is wet. Wait to brush it when it's damp-almost dry. Ps try using a wide tooth comb and lightly start brushing the ends of your hair all the way up to your roots. This will cause way less damage to your hair.
6. FIND OUT WHAT KIND OF HAIR YOU HAVE.
It's important to know what your hair type is so that you can buy the proper products for your hair to keep it healthy.
7. TAKE SUPPLEMENTS.
I find that when I started taking vitamins it really helped my hair stay healthy and grow a lot faster. I take omega 3,6 and 9, a multi vitamin and sometimes prenatal pills because they contain a whole bunch of good vitamins and especially biotin!
8. EAT HEALTHY.
Not only is this good for your body it's amazing for your hair. You honestly are what you eat. If you eat greasy bad foods you can expect to have greasy brittle hair. Whereas if you have a healthy diet your hair will not only grow faster it'll be shinnies and healthier/stronger.
9. DRINK MORE WATER.
It's so important to stay hydrated. Especially for your hair and skin. If you start drinking more water your hair will grow a lot faster than if you didn't and your skin will glow!
10. TRY SCALP MASSAGES.
This one sounds a bit weird but it feels amazing and it makes your hair so shinny and smooth. I usually massage my scalp about once a week for 5 minutes with an oil and bring it down to my ends. This'll really stimulate your scalp and help the growing process. I usually use either coconut oil or baby oil. Both of these worked wonders to my hair. (Amount of oil depends on length of hair).
Hope this helps. I'm not a professional these are just some things that helped my hair grow in the last few months!

MOVIE REVIEW; Gone Girl (2014)
I saw this movie last night…..and man is it ever fucked up!
Gone Girl was directed by David Fincher, produced by Leslie Dixon, Burna Papandrea, Reese Witherspoon and Cean Chaffin. Screenplay by Gillian Flynn and it was also based on Gillian’s book ‘Gone Girl’. The movie starred, Ben Affleck , Rosamund Pike, Neil Patrick Harris and Tyler Perry.
This movie was all sorts of crazy. I think everyone should check it out, it’s full of suspense and mystery and even a little bit of comedy here and there.
I think that this movie really captures how a relationship can go horribly wrong.
I also highly recommend the book Gone Girl, you literally won’t be able to put it down!

BEAUTY REVIEW; Ojon Dry Recovery; Revitalizing Moisture Mist
My first beauty post!
Alright so in June I found myself wanting to buy a spray to help untangle my hair. My hair is naturally curly, so it gets kind of crazy if I don't take the time to brush it and braid it before going to bed. I went to Sephora not really knowing which product to buy, I honestly had noooo clue but then I stumbled upon the Ojon brand.
This hair mist was about 30$. I know its kind of pricey for 175 ml. But you guys its soooooo worth it! I was so pleased with the results it gave me. I'd spray it in my hair and brush through and it left it soooo soft and untangled. Not only does it untangle your hair, it's great for before styling it.
It's always refreshing when you spend so much money on something and it actually works. Pros and Cons about this product?
The biggest Pro is that it works amazingly well and it also just smells wonderful.
I guess the only Con would have to be that it's about 30$.
This will also last you quite some time, I have a lot of hair, and I probably spray it about 5-8 times around my head each time I'd use it, and I only just finished it tonight. (3 months) which is really not that bad.
This stuff is great and you should definitely give it a try!

MOVIE REVIEW; The Secret Life Of Walter Mitty (2013)
Alright so this movie was the second film adaptation of James Thurber's short story (The Secret Life Of Walter Mitty ,1947).
This movie was produced by Samuel Goldwyn, Jr. , John Goldwyn, Stuart Cornfeld and Ben Stiller and starred Ben Stiller, Kristen Wiig, Shirley Maclaine, Adam Scott, Kathryn Hahn, and Sean Penn.
You guys..... It's actually kind of hard to even put into words how AMAZING this movie was. Not only was it funny, it was inspiring, motivating, beautiful and frankly everything you would want in a movie! It will definitely open your eyes to life and to pursue your dreams.
'' A day-dreamer escapes his anonymous life by disappearing into a world of fantasies filled with heroism, romance and action. When his job along with that of his co-worker are threatened, he takes action in the real world embarking on a global journey that turns into an adventure more extraordinary than anything he could have ever imagined.''
I think everyone should watch this movie, it will honestly warm your heart. I watched this last night and want to watch it again it's truly amazing, from the outstanding acting, to just the beautiful cinematography and it even has a great soundtrack! waaaaaatch it!!!!!!!!!!
'' TO SEE THE WORLD, THINGS DANGEROUS TO COME TO, TO SEE BEHIND WALLS, DRAW CLOSER TO FIND EACH OTHER AND TO FEEL, THAT IS THE PURPOSE OF LIFE''

MOVIE REVIEW ; Her (2013)
A few months ago, a girl that I worked with told me about this movie and went on and on about how good it was, so I finally decided to watch it!
Her, was written by, Spike Jonze, and starred Joaquin Phoenix , Amy Adams, Rooney Mara, Olivia Wilde and Scarlett Johansson.
The only thing I really knew about this movie prior to watching it was that it was about a guy who fell in love with his computer. But it's so much more than that! This movie takes place in the future (2025) and follows the life of an unhappy/lonely man who is going through a divorce and purchases an operating system (O.S) with artificial intelligence that is able to adapt and evolve (kind of like a human). The two end up falling in love. Now I won't say what happens because you need to watch this movie, but I think what I loved the most about this flick, is the fact that it kind of showcases our love for technology. The man in the movie, Theodore, is not the only one to fall in love with his O.S. and no one really questioned it either, it was normal to be 'involved' with your O.S. ...Kind of makes you think about how much we depend on technology.
I really enjoyed this movie, I adored that it shows us how we can have a sort of connection to just about everything. Her, is funny, heartfelt and sad, you should definitely check it out!

TV SERIES REVIEW; Bojack Horseman (2014-)
Ok so this show is pretty recent, there is one season on Netflix so far, and let me tell you, I love this show so much you guys.
When I first heard of it I thought it was going to be a really stupid sort of adult cartoon, but it's actually amazing. It was created by Raphael Bob-Waksberg, and it's starring, Will Arnett,Amy Sedaris, Alison Brie, Paul F. Tompinks and Aaron Paul.
This show is not only insightful, it's hilarious! you guys should check this out for a good laugh and even a bit of a love story ;)! Enjoy!

TV SERIES REVIEW ; House M.D. (2004-2012) , 8 Seasons.
I haven't really reviewed any shows yet, so here we go!
So House came on Netflix a little while ago so I decided to watch the whole thing. Ha-ha. I had already seen many episodes here and there on TV, but I had never really followed the story. So already knowing a little bit about the show, I was pretty intrigued by it.
This show had an ah-maaaaazing cast. Including,Hugh Laurie, Lisa Edelstein, Omar Epps, Robert Sean Leonard, Jennifer Morrison, Jesse Spencer, Peter Jacobson, Kal Penn, Olivia Wilde, Amber Tamblyn, Odette Annable and Charlyne Yi.
This show is very interesting, yes it's about doctors saving lives, but there's so much more to it. House is the head of the diagnostics team. All of the cases (patients) that him and his team solve are always super bizarre and test their minds. So it's pretty cool that they receive such weird and awesome cases that keep you guessing the entire episode since they can misdiagnose someone.
I watched all 8 seasons in about 4 months or so. The show can obviously get a little repetitive when you binge watch it like I did, but there's a reason as to why I couldn't stop watching it, I mean maybe my crush on Hugh Laurie made it that much better, but it's actually because of his character, House. He has an addiction to Vicodin (supplement used to treat severe pain). He takes them like it's nothing. House is... miserable.
What really reels you into this show, is his misery to be honest. Hugh plays a hilarious character, very sarcastic actually (dark humor). But whenever he is at his happiest it's like he knows it won't last, so he walks away.
You can see that all that he wants is love and happiness. You can see the pain in his eyes. You can almost feel his heartbreak during the series. This show is so great. It sometimes even makes you realize some things about your life that you most probably don't always think of. Biggest message it has is to chase happiness, and take chances. Not to walk away from things because you're afraid of what the outcome may be if you don't achieve it like you thought you would, and of course that, everybody lies.
This show takes many turns and it will shock you at times. It can be very sad just like it can be very funny. It really shows you the highs and lows someone can take. So after watching it for so long you can only expect an amazing series finale.... To be honest the show was wonderful, but the final episode..... Not so great. Now I won't give anything out but they could have done a whooooooollllleeee lot better with their ending.
All in all, this is a pretty great show, House's humor/misery will definitely draw you in.
Side note; this show has an amazing soundtrack.

SONG OF THE WEEK; When She Says Baby By Jason Aldean
Alrightttttyyyy! So I know a lot of people aren't too crazy about country music, but I for one, am a Country Music lover! This song is an oldie but a goodie! Absolutly love Jason Aldean. I think he's one of my favorite country artists actually! This song is awesome because it has so many good vibes to it, and whenever I listen to it I can't help but be in a good mood. To be quite honest I to this day don't really understand why people don't even like country music or don't want to give it a chance! ahhhhhhhh! Anyway take a listen, hope you like it!
