Tl;dr my stepmom keeps raising the price of my rent, charging me weekly, and my hours at work suck so I can't afford it. I'm about to enter my homeless era so if anyone in Northern Kentucky is looking for a roommate hmu ✨
(I'm being so serious too I'm a good roommate I'll help pay rent as long as it's MONTHLY I'm good at cleaning I won't leave dirty dishes in the sink I'll even wash yours đź‘Ť)
I've decided to stay in Kentucky (my current state of residence, tragic I know)
My stepmom WAS charging me 500 dollars a month in rent to stay with her
BUT
Recently she's been acting really shady and changing the prices
She started having me pay 125 dollars a WEEK instead of a month
Which wouldn't be that bad except I work at SHITASS KROGER (that's right I'm name-dropping) WHERE THE HOURS FUCKING SUCK
I requested for more hours at work but my manager basically looked at my request and flushed it down the toilet because you need seniority for them to even vaguely consider your hours
BUT WAIT! THERE'S MORE
Remember when I said my stepmom was being shady and changing the prices??
Yeah so one week she's making me pay 225 dollars a week
(including this week lol. lmao even)
And now she's asking for 175 dollars a week
Now I'm no mathematician but I don't think that's 500 dollars a month
And with my SHITASS hours at work I'm basically giving up my whole paycheck every week
This means I can't save up ANY MONEY WHATSOEVER to move out
She's basically trapping me here under the threat of homelessness, changing up the rent whenever it suits her mood
I don't even think my paycheck is gonna be 225 dollars this week, I'm getting it today though so we'll see
Her changing it to 175 a week is kinda my last straw?? I genuinely need to get the fuck up outta here so I'm being so fr if anyone in Northern Kentucky needs a roommate DM me here
I'll even drop the city I don't care at this point I'm near Covington
