Stijn De Vos is een visuele architecturale artiest. Via experimenten, schetsen en maquettes ontwikkelt en onderbouwt hij zijn expliciet, ontwerpmatig onderzoek. Een eigen interpretatie van selectief uitgezocht materiaal omgezet naar een 3D model.

Passing by

Een impressie van een voetgangersbrug die bestaat uit een eclectische structuur. De ervaring van de voorbijganger wordt visueel en fysiek uitdagend. De verschillende doorgangen en platforms geeft de toeschouwer de tijd om alles rondom hem te bekijken. De tocht om deze "open views" te bereiken, is niet vanzelfsprekend. De voetganger moet moeite doen. Het ontwerp is gebaseerd op de vier windrichtingen. De open structuur gedraagt zich zowel chaotisch als harmonieus. De wind blaast doorheen het gebouwde zodat natuurlijke elementen toegelaten worden in het ontwerp.
