             the girl replies in a tone feigning innocence,              tugging testing at logan’s grasp upon her wrists              as she one calf comes to hook around his.              her glasses hang janky on the bridge of her              nose, clear evidence of their lover’s tussle.              logan MUST rue the day he told her he had              sensitive sides in the first place.

              a tease, she rests her forehead against the               crook of logan’s neck – cutting his access to               the sensitive planes of her own throat. fingers               migrate down to rest upon his sides,               voicing dropping low with a grin in her               tone.

               those stationary fingers seize his sides to                further her teasing; she knows he’s                ticklish.

         her tone sends a shiver down his spine and logan lets his eyes drift shut — if only for a moment. soft whispers like that always send his heart pounding and his mind racing. a quick, easy way to turn him on.           but before he can say anything, velma’s hands are on his sides. his mouth opens to object, but he’s not nearly as fast, and he ends up trying to stifle some laughter and get out of her grasp.           ❛ velma — shit, velma, cut it out! ❜ his body turns and he emits another bark of a laugh, but he’s quick to react this time — his hands moving to her wrists and  his body maneuvering just enough to change their positions. now he’s on top of her, her hands pinned above her head, and a big grin on his face.           ❛ what i tell ya ‘bout doin’ shit like that? ❜

          logan emits a soft huff of frustration. she’s going on thirty, and she’s known him for a few years, at this point; she should know better than to joke about shit like that. he watches her in silence for a long moment before clearing his throat and getting himself a meat lovers pizza — extra meats, add some onions  and peppers. he doesn’t indulge in pizza enough that he has a favorite, but he knows what he likes.
