Indefinite Hiatus

I have lost the muse for Stine. I may or may not come back to this blog. But for now, hiatus.

"D-daddy..? Am I good enough yet..?" Callie tugged on her fathers pant leg. She had a new hair style. Part of it was covering her left eye. There were no pink streaks.

“Callie, your wonderful.” Stine said with a smile as he scooped her up into his arms.

Stine got up, walked to the kitchen and started making some grilled cheese. “How many do you want?”

“20 MILLION!” She smirked climbing onto his shoulders.

“I do not have enough cheese or beard to do that.”

“ILL GO STEAL SOME!” She ran toward the door.

“Callie, no. I don’t want to go to jail tonight. How about I just make as many as I can?”

"Hello,father. It's nice to see you again. Remember me?" A girl in pink bloody pajama's randomly appeared behind stine,tugging on his arm.

“C-callie?” Stine jumped and stared down at the young girl. “How did? When did?”

“Oh,I’ve been out of my book for a while. A certain someone forgot to lock me in~” she giggled. “It’s missed you soooo much~.”

Stine smiled, though you could see the fear in his eyes. “Heh. It’s good to see you too, Callie.”

Her eyes turned as a dark red as she raised her arms up. “Pick me up.”

Stine immediately reached down and picked the young girl up. “How’s that?”

She layed her head on his shoulder as she started to wimper in pain. “T-thank you.. Father..” She gripped onto one of his hands.

He was slightly confused by her actions. “Your welcome.”

She snuggled in closer to him. “I-it really hurts..” She squzed his hand tighter.

“I know…. They’ll go away soon enough.”

She started to shake a bit and sob. “I-I can’t take it much longer..”

Stine carefully patted her back. “It’s okay. You can make it. I know you can.”

“H-HES STABBING ME!! F-FATHER HES STABBING ME!” She screamed. “F-FATHER STOP HIM!!”

“It’s alright, Callie.” He carefully shook her, trying to snap her out of the flashback.

Her eyes turned back to blue and she layed relaxed a bit,panting softly. “I-I don’t want to feel this anymore…”

Stine held her close. “I don’t know what to do.”

She snuggled up to him. “I-I can’t stay like this forever..”

“I don’t know if I can fix this.”

“Can’t.. You just erase it out of my book?”

“I suppose I could.” He walked over to his desk, still holding Callie in his arms. When he sat down, he shifted her to his lap. Then he pulled out the book and removed the parts she wanted out.

She began to cry tears of joy,pulling him into a hug. “W-will I still feel the pain..?”

He hugged her back carefully. “No, you won’t. There won’t be anymore pain.”

She gave him a soft kiss on the cheek. “I-I love you,father..”

He smiled, and patted her head. “I love you too.”

She pulled back and smirked. “I want food.”

“Okay, what would you like to eat?”

She gave him and evil smile. “Rabbit.”

Stine thought for a moment. “I’m not sure if I have any.”

“I WANT TO GO HUNTING!” She smirked.

“Well, alright. But no yelling.” He said as he set Callie down, and grabbed a flashlight. “Come on,  no time like the present.”
