I Know My Value. Anyone Else’s Opinion Doesn’t Really Matter

Agent Peggy Carter from the Marvel cinematic universe; most notably Agent Carter. It was a long road with this one, since life threw me a few curve balls during the process so there were several months in there where it never got worked on. But it’s finished now and I’m so proud! During the course of stitching this one I got a new computer and lost the original file for the pattern. Therefore I have no idea how many stitches went into this, or exactly what size it it. And because it took so long, I can’t even give you an accurate timeline of how long it took, but it was definitely two years and a bit.

This was my first time using 22 count fabric. I’m not sorry I did, it looks beautiful and this image definitely benefited from the extra detail, but I’m going to take a break from that for a bit. I’m sure I’ll use it again for another project in the future, but for now I’m going back to 18 count which is going to feel so easy after this. Lol!

Thank you all so much for your encouragement and kind comments over the course of stitching this. I’m not always able to respond to everyone individually but I appreciate it all so much.
