LIVING IN THE AMERICANS SUBURBS WAS… STRANGE. ten years ago eugene never would have expected this was where his life would lead. but he wasn’t expecting to both find and lose the love of his life in such a short amount of time. besides, it wasn’t as if he had anyone back in Italy. even if rapunzel couldn’t see their daughter grow up. the least he could do was raise her in the forever home they’d bought together. eugene had to admit joe’s company was welcomed over the thirsty soccer mom’s. plus meeting and talking to new neighbors was why he enjoyed these walks. ❝ it’s wonderful to meet you, henry. ❞ eugene places his hand on top of his daughter’s head. gently brushing back her hair. ❝ this drool monster is Camilla. ❞ eugene lets out a soft laugh as henry smacks his father. ❝ maybe that good arm of his will come in handy in the future. ❞ he pauses as he realizes they introduced the babies but not themselves. he stretches out his hand as the other rests against camilla’s stomach as she gurgles and kicks her legs not wanting to accidentally kick the other after he’d gotten smacked by his own kid. ❝ I’m eugene. HE’S QUICK TO RETURN THE HANDSHAKE , charming smile curving his lips as he does. ❝ JOE GOLDBERG. you must be the one i saw move in a while back. i saw the moving truck. ❞ his smile is then directed towards camilla , head canting to the side as he observes her. THERE’S JEALOUSY IN HIS GAZE ; he’d wanted a daughter. certainly more than a son who despised him , even before he could utter a single word. ❝ it’s nice to meet you both. how are you adjusting to suburban life ? i know it’s been difficult for me --------- came from new york && los angeles.
