Today we have been to a boot camp run by the amazing Max Pain at NWRD. It events like this that get us fired up for our team's future. Each one of us, regardless of ability, progressed and learnt. From NSOing for the first time, to first time scrims. We were taught new strategies and skills and the insight we received was second to none. I know our coach, Whip Tease, will be taking away lots of ideas for future training sessions at SCR. So a huge thank you northwalesrollerderby You were wonderful.

Dear Bexecute,

Remember tonight’s practice, remember how you feel right now. For weeks on end you’ve got angry, frustrated and emotional at your ability, or lack there of. You have let it get you down. You have compared yourself to others, cried and considered quitting.

But tonight? Tonight it’s different. You had a break through, you tried things you’d never done before and the only person you compared yourself to was yourself, to see what progress you had made from the beginning of the session to the end. You had a positive attitude, encouraged by the wonderful women around you…and it felt wonderful.

You can feel like this more often, if you just believe in yourself a little bit more.

I’m proud of you. Well done.
