Juice.

For the past months that’s the only thing on your mind. It’s been maybe six months of the whole friends with benefits agreement. If you can even call it that. 

There was night where he had a tough day, or a bunch of club bs that pilled on him so he would seek you for comfort. Or it would be the other way around you coming to him seeking an outlet of frustration from either work or just life. 

But somehow he was always there for you. Even when it came to him picking you up from work in the middle of the night when your car wouldn’t start. Or him helping with whatever new stupid house project you found on pintrest. 

It seemed like any other night you where working at the bar. You where tried of this place. You’ve sent out countless of applications for anything to do with the degree you earned. You noticed that the sons where already here but you still didn’t see Juice. 

You just felt on edge all shift. If it wasn't from some drunks breaking bottles to a rush of new people coming in with order you couldn’t keep up with. 

Juice walked in, his eyes going straight to you. He wasn’t sure if it was to make sure you where here or if he just wanted to see you. He knew some of the guys where here tonight. But he already felt pretty drunk from the club house. They had a great easy run. Made too much in cash that no one them could spend fast enough. 

“(y/n)!” He called for you as he came to rest at the bar. 

“Juice, where have yo been?” He asked curious to why you haven’t seen him in a few days. It felt weird not to at least see him once. Your house felt too empty without his visits. He partially lived there at times. 

 “Just was on a run to up state.” He said smiling at the fact you where worried about him. He liked seeing you like this. 

“You missed me?” He hinted giving him his famous smile. It was like he was digging for something. He wasn't sure what. Maybe it was all the liquor in his system but he wasn’t holding himself back today. 

“Of course I did Juice.” You said smiling as I gave him a new beer. His large hand came down over mine as he grabbed the beer from me. 

“What time do you get off?” He asked as he seemed to lean even closer over the bar towards you. 

“I close tonight, you should know that.” You said rolling your eyes walking away to help the other customers at the bar who gave you dirty looks for talking away with Juice. 

“Agh I can’t wait that long.” He groaned more to himself then you. 

Most of the night he found himself going back to the bar hoping to catch a few words with you. He could tell your where too busy with no help. He could feel himself too drunk for his own good. He wasn't sure if it was because he was frustrated from not seeing you or too nervous that he felt like he had to drink away his feelings. 

Juice noticed as you piled on way too many cups into the bine before pushing your way to the back kitchen. He quickly stumbled over to help you pushing the door open. 

“thanks Juice.” You said throwing everything in to the mess the kitchen already was. 

“Come’ ere” He mumbled not giving you a chance to say anything. He pushed you up against the old brick wall of the bar. His lips quickly found a pace against your own.  The months being together everything felt so much better. It’s like yo both memorized ever inch of each other. He knew exactly where to kiss and where to hold. Just like you knew every spot on him that made him groan. 

“Juice not here.” He whispered out against his lips that where now making their way down your neck. 

“Let me take you home then.” He groaned between kisses against your skin. You knew he was leaving marks all over, he always did. 

“It’s only 2 hours till closing.” you huffed against him. Juice was already letting his hands explore down your pants. you knew it was a really long couple days without him. You felt yourself giving up against him as your hands desperately pulling at his clothes. 

“ I need ya now.” Juice mumbled his hazed eyes looking at you. He looked desperate for you. it made everything grow that much more intense.

“Let’s go Juice.” You said finally giving in to him. He smiled pulling you along with him to his bike. It took matter of minutes before you where pulling up at your house. No questions asked Juice picked you up over his shoulder before dashing to the house he missed so much. It felt like this was his home now too. 

Within minutes both of you where wrapped up in your sheets. This was rough desperate sex as both of you let out your frustration on each other. 

“Fuck (y/n)” Juice groaned as he dropped next to you. 

“Juice can I ask you something?” You asked as you turned to your side to look a the ruggedly handsome man in front of you. 

“Hmm?” he turned over resting his weight on this elbow as he looked at you. His folded arm made his already large biceps look even larger. 

“Are you sleeping with other girls?” You asked finally getting the bricks off your chest. It was like you can finally breath again. It’ been bothering you for the past few months. You knew it shouldn’t matter since al you shared was a friendship with certain benefits. 

Juice was a little surprised you brought that up right now. He knew with conversation was coming you both have been avoiding way too long. If he was honest he hasn’t been with anyone else since the day you meant you almost 2 years ago. It was a really long dry spell for him until this started happening. 

But Juice also knew how dangerous his life really was. He wasn’t sure if he wanted to get you involved with everything. He didn't want anything to change. 

“No darlin.” He said being honest. But he knew where this conversation was going and he really hope he was wrong. He knew he couldn't give you what you really wanted. 

“Then do you want to go to dinner one night, like a actual date?” You asked really nervous. You knew you had to start making the moves because you where tried of waiting for him to. 

“(y/n)- I uh I don’t know if that’s a good idea.” Juice whispered, his heart felt so heavy in his chest. He felt like he was suffocating. 

“Do you like me?” You asked getting more frustrated at the situation. 

“Of course, I just I can’t give you what you want.” He said sitting up trying to pull you closer. He was desperately wanting for you to understand where he was coming from. 

“Why is it wrong for me to want something more with you?” You asked feeling your own heart sink every farther down. This was the worst feeling, it made you want to throw up. 

“I can’t give you more.” He said as he ran his hand down his the back of his neck. He didn't know the first thing when it came to having a loving stable relationship. 

“You can’t go on one date with me? Oh but you can fuck me whenever you want!” You couldn’t hold back anymore. You just had to let everything out. 

“When date and then? You want stability. And I can’t give you that. I know you want way more then just this. But I can’t do that. I can’t be that loving boyfriend that’s always there for you. My life is a mess and I don’t want to rope you in more then I already have. I can’t take you love for granted at your own expense. “ Juice said regretting every word as he watched your eyes glass over. He was about to lose it when he saw one single tear slowly roll down your cheek. All he wanted to do was grab you and hold you but you wouldn’t let him. 

“And how do you know what I want?” You asked pulling away from him no matter how much you just really wanted to stay in them. 

“(y/n), I’m not stupid. I can see how you treat me differently from everyone else. I can see the way you look at me. It drives me crazy. I see the way your with Abel. I know you want more, and I can’t give you that love, I’m sorry.” Juice said as he ran his hand down your thigh. 

“So you’ve known how I felt all this time?” You asked him as you felt the heart break. all your emotions where a mess. You didn’t know if you should be angry or upset. 

“No- I just, yeah but it’s not that I don’t-” Juice stumbled over his own words. There was no way he could phrase this. He knew he already hurt you. 

“And you went along with it all this time. You just played me along.” You let out pushing his hand off you. You didn't even know if you can even look at him anymore. All this time he just played along. 

“No-” He started but you didn't even want to talk to him about all this. There was no point to even talk about this, he said it himself he couldn't give you what you wanted so desperately. 

“Please get out.” You said getting up from the bed pulling the sheets with you. You didn't want him to see you like this anymore. 

“I never meant for this..” He start but you just shook your head as more tears started rolling out. You couldn’t hold it in even if you tried. 

Juice broke his own heart as he made his way out your house. And it was all him and his own dumbass fault. He couldn’t get the imagine of you crying out his head. He’s never seen you look so helpless and broken. He wished he could just wrap you up and bring you to bed and never let you out.

You exited the zoo feeling unsure of what was happening. A low growl was traveling through the air to your ears making you uneasy. He sounded hungry. Something was not right about this zoo and you were going to find out what it was.

The next day at work you were very observant of everyone during the day, especially Daichi. He told you he was the only one who could go see Kei but he never left his office and if he did it was for lunch.

Hinata had kept you busy during the first half of the shift making you do his job and what not. Tanaka followed you around steering you away from the lion exhibit and Tobio had cornered you at one point.

“Y/n? “

“Y-yes? I gotta..”

“Would you be interested in getting drinks with us tonight?”

“Oh i don't .. drink.”

His brow twitched and he scoffed backing away from you. “Surely you'll join anyway? A nice.. night out with your co-workers? We would need a DD , it would be unsafe..”

You hugged your sides not looking at him, you wanted to say no, run away. But the guilt of being responsible for deaths was too much. You nodded slightly and Tobio smirked, patting your head. “Great. Now get back to work.”

The day went on and every boy took time out of their day to tell you how excited they were that you were coming tonight. They were all a lot more excited than they should be.

It was almost time to go and you decided to hide out in the restroom till everyone left. They all passed the restroom talking.

“Did y/n leave?” Daichi asked

“I think so. Without telling us?” Tanaka asked, looking around.

“We are seeing her tonight , who cares.” Tobio said walking past them, Hinata at his side. The two agreed catching up.

“I don't know how much longer i can wait till i can have her.” Daichi said . “She's perfect.”

The voices faded and you peaked out not seeing anyone . You were a shaking mess . “What did that mean….” You definitely were not getting drinks tonight.

You snuck over to the lion exhibit slipping past the tape to just see a net and some trees , rocks and a steel door . Backtracking, you went to Daichi’s office and grabbed the zoo keys. Quietly you followed the trail to the exhibit doors and unlocked the lion one . A loud growl could be heard and you hoped everyone had left already.

It was an empty room and it smelled.. awful. Like rotten meat. Gently you closed the door walking forward to see some meat rotting on the ground by the barred door. You bent down to pick it up and an arm shot out grabbing you bringing you to the door. You screamed hitting your head and shut your eyes from the sting.

Something was smelling you , it lifted you up to your feet and stuck its nose in your hair sniffing deep . The arm let go of you and you rubbed your head looking at the door.

He came out of the shadows and your heart nearly stopped. A tall.. talk man with a tame blond curly mane. Large lion paws with fur on the arms with some parts that looked to be burned off and had no hope of growing back. His torso was lean and free of hair but covered in deep cuts and what looked like whip marks. The pants he had on were old and ragged and only covered his furry midsection . His legs were long and furry as well, a few burns near the knees. His tail flicked around with irritation. His eyes though… looked damnaged .

You stepped forward as if you were completely under his control holding your hand out. It slipped through the bars and the lion man reached out, missing your hand a few times . You grabbed his paw and his ears twitched.

His ear moved and Kei heard the door open. ‘Must be Daichi ‘ he thought, not getting up from his rock to go find out. He heard the door shut and an unfamiliar scent crept up his nose. Oh? That's not Daichi, or the others. He slid off his rock , his nose guiding him to the door, he still bumped into trees and rocks though, he growled loud in irritation. His arm extended trying to feel for the wall. He walked into it growling again. Slowly he walked along the wall , the scent getting stronger. He stopped right next to the door peeking over only to not be able to see anything, it was just a blurry object. He reached through the bars grabbing whoever was here and yanked them to him.

The scream sounded like a woman , instantly he let go and rubbed his eyes as if it would help him see better. All he had to go on was your scent.

He could almost see something slip through the bars and tried to grab it , missing. Until it grabbed his paw, rubbing it with what felt like a thumb. His ear twitched and he squinted trying to see. He moved closer and something wrapped around his chest , he assumed another arm. You hugged him as best you could, rubbing his giant paw on your face. He looked down at you completely dumbfounded. Slowly he moved his other arm through the bars and pulled you as close as he could.

“You're beautiful…” you whispered to him

“Im sure you are too..” he squeezed you tight, purring.
