it seems like all i’m doing are lifting stories with no haul post / pics but this one is funny

so i’m at the mall with a newbie. we’re in s3phora. she wants to buy this fenty beauty concealer but she can’t afford it. i tell her i’ll lift it, and she says “oh! i can,” and sticks it in her coat pocket. anyways, we walk out, and as soon as we’re outside the store, THE CONCEALER SHE JUST STOLE FALLS OUT OF HER COAT. literally IN THE DOORWAY. i walk away because i’m not getting caught for a fucking concealer, AND SHE BENDS DOWN AND GRABS IT. at this point, someone who works there is giving her a look, and she BOLTS. out of the mall, we get onto the first bus that comes.

but also my friends and i lifted over 3000$ worth of merch from two huds0n’s b@ys, we literally lifted scissors from walm@rt, then went to the store, grabbed what we wanted, walked into the change rooms and cut the tags out, shoved the clothes in a backpack, and i walked out with a pair of shorts with tags in the pocket while he walked out with his backpack of shit. sadly didn’t get a haul picture :(

kinda been laying low lately, i was lifting with my friend and she got caught, plain clothes mall security flashed us his badge and asked us to take what we stole out, she did, i concealed in the lining of my purse so i opened my purse, told him i hadn’t taken anything, and left. still too sus to go back.

this might be hard to understand but

i feel like when i used to actually buy things, i would sometimes splurge on expensive items that were SHIT but i forced n convinced myself to believe they weren’t bc, like, how could it be shit when it’s so expensive? and now that i lift stuff i see things more clearly for how they really are. like i feel like ONLY lifters understand how that Gorgeous moisturizer from Lush is actually pretty terrible, but every other person hypes it up bc they’re under this impression that it MUST be lovely bc it’s $80, but when you get it for free and didn’t lose anything for it, it’s easy to see just how scammed people who pay for things really are. most “really good” products out there aren’t actually really good, they’re just expensive and have a good word-of-mouth about them. does that make sense? lifting in this way has really made me come to my senses about what i should ACTUALLY pay for.

God this really hit me when I started lifting high end makeup and found out that honestly things like naked palettes or too faced mascara quite frankly suck ass. People are really out here spending 50$ on a palette that barely shows up just because of the brand name on it so everyone knows you have that much money to spend on something like makeup when the cheap maybelline and revlon makeup I got at Kmart goes on better and lasts longer. Same thing with shit like Victoria’s Secret bras and panties like I’ve had bras from goodwill last longer than the bras I lifted from vs and their panties while very cute and sexy use such cheap dye that naturally bleaches within like two uses and all the lace tears apart so quickly. But it’s a higher class brand so people talk it up
