It keeps being said that Harry knew Eleanor before... Everything. How?
The official story has been stated that Harry introduced Louis and Eleanor. However, the story has kind of changed a few times, so who really knows. There is a connection between Harry and Eleanor, though… maybe. At least, that is what the Eleanor shippers have said. Eleanor’s former bff, Alana Burton (the girl Harry was recently pictured with in Tokyo), was apparently friends with Gemma, and therefore Harry, before 1D days. So, the story goes like this: Harry invited his sister and some friends from back home, Alana brought El, and that is how El and Louis met. The thing is that Harry didn’t even follow Alana on Twitter until 2013, so if he was so close to her before, then why did it take so long? That is only one small part of the mystery of this meeting. Anyway, this is Alana and Eleanor. They used to be inseparable.
And this is Harry and Alana, so they were friends too. I just don’t know at what point they really became friends.
But, back to the start… on Sept 17, 2011, two months before Eleanor and Louis would officially become a couple, an article with Digital Spy said this:
This article at least clarified she was a “Hollister model” - which means she just stood around a Hollister store wearing their clothes. It is interesting that any news outlet was reporting on an un-official relationship with a civilian this early on. That is one of the strangest things about it. The article also said this:
Like… okay, like that wasn’t “foreshadowing” things or setting this whole relationship up. How could anyone know this after a few secret dates?
The same day, this article stated this:
So, once again, it was a friend of Harry’s. Possibly Alana.
A video posted on October 24, 2011. Not only is it quite the Larry video, but Louis states he is single. Louis also states that he gave Harry his love bite, and I am just now noticing Louis has a love bite as well on his collar bone. (Some cute Lilo moments as well.)
There is, however, an interview where Liam says Harry was the matchmaker for Louis and Eleanor. Harry honestly looks like he is about to cry or is crying this whole interview. He keeps denying being a ladies man, then Liam says this thing about Harry being the matchmaker and this is the look on Harry’s face, while he looks at Louis.
Afterwards he is once more accused of being good with the ladies and he denies it and says he is just a good wingman. Liam then called Harry a “lonely old man,” and he honestly looks like he is crying.
He even appears to wipe a tear from his eye.
So, if he was the matchmaker, why is he so unhappy about it?
