Nobody has any empathy for him and all he tried to do is give some power back to the darkeyes.

Before being corrupted by odium, he didnt go after the slave drivers, or the lighteyes or the highprinces, he sacrificed his comfortable privileged life to kill the king. Accepting that his friends might never forgive him and putting his life on the line, because he knows that the status quo is killing his comrades. He was acting in honour and yet he still felt remorse afterwards.

Everything he did when odium took control of him while he was at his weakest and most vulnerable over the course of years, pales in comparison to the amount of destruction kaladin caused in the span of like 20 minutes while under the same corruption in rhythm of war.

But no you guys think hes worse than the fucking lord ruler, ok.
