Happy Mspec Lesbian Visibility and Awareness Week everyone! Here is an mspec lesbian pride flag I made a while ago but haven’t uploaded publicly until now.
This flag is for anyone who identifies with the term “mspec lesbian” or it’s more specific labels (ie. bi lesbian, pan lesbian, omni lesbian, ply lesbian, neptunic lesbian, etc). This flag is inclusive to all of those who feel it fits them. <3

Mspec lesbian visibility and awarness week day 3
Most of us who are bi lesbian or mspec lesbians in general use those labels as a mean to honour history and reclaim inclusive definitions that have not been affected or shaped by terf rethoric.
This is one of the reasons why I identify as a bi lesbian myself. I am not a lesbian in a nmlnm way, but I am a person who love women in a queer way and I am a lesbian. I refuse to center a lack ot love or attraction in my identity as a lesbian, I refuse to centre hatred in my identity in any way shape or form.
The nmlnm definition also often further pushes gender essentialist ideologies, which is bound to hurt any and all trans and gnc people.
My identity is one of love. My existance as a queer person is focused on my love for women, my love for queer people, and solidarity with all of my queer brothers, sisters and siblings. I will not align myself in any way with the people or the ideology that are hurting some of us, and so no, I will not start using the nmlnm definition any time soon.
Aside from that, historical definitions are beautiful, and I feel honoured to be able to share some things with those who came before me. I feel proud to be able to use the same labels as many others who came before us, I feel proud to share a community with them.
There are many people who are way better at educating on queer history than I am, and so I will let them do their job to talk about more about the history of those labels and of the people who used them, but I still wanted to mentioned how this still play a role in "why do I identify that way".

Mspec lesbian discourse is fucking stupid because it's so exclusionary towards multigender folks and everyone trying to gatekeep lesbian by making it a strictly defined box just forgets that people who are both men and women (or nonbinary) people exist. And they get upset when you point that out. A lot of them pretend to support nonbinary people but then are hostile towards enbies that have weird or confusing or controversial identities. Just say y'all hate or don't believe in multigender people and go
I was blocked by someone on twitter that made a comic trying to define lesbian and preaching that "lesbian excludes men" because I said that people that are both men and women exist and that their definition of lesbian ("non-men attracted to non-men") made it inherently mspec
Lesbian can and does include men because multigender people exist and you cannot erase genderfluid, bigender, or other multigenders!!! Multigender people deserve to exist freely and use language that they feel fits them best!!
i find it really odd how some mogai and inclus users will talk about how gender is complex and you can use whatever labels you want and how we dont have to appeal to cis people (very true) , but then hate mspec lesbians and gays. As if sexuality isn't also a complicated social construct?

If they both had actual character development they would.
I think they would have just wanted different things from life. Lance would have wanted to settle down and have kids and Keith just.. wouldn’t.
Wait, you’re tell me... that the guy who worked his butt off to be better than Keith even after he left, was in a military space program, wanted to go to SPACE, and later found that he and Keith were more alike than he originally thought, would want to SETTLE DOWN?
That man is too much of a show off and too adventurous to want to simply, “settle down” don’t even start with that. He may be good with kids but I’m pretty sure it’s mostly because he has nieces and nephews. Not because he wants to have his own kids.
Not to mention he literally was depressed when he had nothing to do and was pretty much shunned by the rest of the team for no reason other than him being a goofball. He would not just simply, sit still. It’s not in his character and any time he does stay in one place for too long he hates it. He would want to travel and maybe he and Keith wouldn’t work out but saying he wouldn’t want to travel all together shows to me that you probably didn’t read his character as well as you think you did.
But also, he and Keith totally would have worked out so well together if Lance had the character development that made him realize how similar they actually were either before the end of voltron or after. Whichever one, he was way too obsessed with Keith for too long for it to have built to nothing. Also Keith doesn’t hate Lance or feel any ill will to him. He mostly just wants what is best for Lance.(which is obviously him but the developers were homophobic so)
I don’t see Lance wanting to be away from his family after Voltron, and I think getting chucked into space and being forced to fight a war it would put a lot into perspective for him. But I see where you come from. I do think it would have made sense for them to date just not end game.
