Hi, I'm a traditional artist and beginner writer. I was wondering if you had any advice on creating OCs? I found your videos on YouTube, and I really enjoy watching. I've been taking notes on improving my OCs, and I have six OCs that I've created so far. Sorry to bother you, I also like your art style. I love anime/manga art styles as well.

I’m so sorry to point this out, but do you think the name Raven is a good choice for a black oc?

heyy, I actually don't know? I named her that partly because of her dark hair and also because of the cool, mysterious edgy vibe of ravens, that I thought fit her personality.

Raven is also a popular name in real life that I've seen plenty of poc have so it never crossed my mind that that was problematic in any way, but pls do tell me if I'm wrong and if there's something I don't know! I would be more than willing to learn and change the name if there is a problem.

(also, as a side note my oc Raven isn't black, she's south + west asian)
