I have a strong (and perhaps strange) affinity for animals, especially horses, rats, and dogs. I enjoy reading and love writing. I'm two years out of high school and I still don't know what to do with my life—but that's alright, I'm still learning. Welcome to the story of my life, as told by me.

no okay but let me tell you a story

so at school I’m generally a pretty quiet person. I talk to a few people, I have a few friends, but I keep to myself a lot. So anyway, during lunch I’m on tumblr mobile, and this thing comes up. I put the gif onto full screen, and kind of half laugh at it. Then this guy who I have literally never talked to before walks by and then slowly back up and starts looking at my phone screen. I try to explain what I’m looking at, but really, how the hell do you explain this? Anyway, he waves over one of his friends so his friend comes over and looks at it. I’m still sitting in my chair, and we are all still completely silent. Soon more people begin to gather. 12 people, to be exact. 12 people, many of which I have never spoken to before, standing in a large, silent, ritual-esque circle around my iphone which is playing this gif on loop. After about five minutes, the first guy goes “how long is this?” and I was like “uh, its, um, its a gif, so it kind of goes on forever.” he nods and says “perfect”. These were the only words spoken throughout this whole event.

What store did you get your rats from? (The mom & dad)

Dakota came from the Plymouth NH petstore. It’s not a corporate store so they don’t buy from rat mills. They breed their ratties right in the store. Phoenix came from an accidental litter (the irony). I’m not positive but I think Pheonix’s parents came from Petco or Petsmart.

I have six little girls that still need homes from the accidental litter I had on June 4th! I'm doing a $10 rehoming fee for each, and I can travel a little ways to get them where they need to go. They'll be ready to go this Wednesday! There's also pictures of the Mom and Dad for anyone who'd like to see the parents.

So I got up at 4:30am this morning and I felt pretty damn good (I've been debilitatingly ill the past couple of days)! I'm out of the house and running on one of my favorite local trails with my dog enjoying the morning. Five minutes into the run I sneeze and shit myself. Ugh.
