I am taking this moment to again say that i never have liked it and never will like it when c00lkidd is portrayed as another violent killer like the others. I just genuinely dont think it fits his character.
c00lkidd, in forsaken, is said to not be knowingly killing people and is instead seeing a harmless game. It makes sense. He's a kid, despite neing distructive i dont think it's said he takes pleasure in killing people. Which is why i think the jump to "when that perception is removed/shattered he becomes hostile" doesnt work. It would take a lot of trauma and time to make a kid begin killing people with a smile on their face. What would cause him to do this?
Attention? I dont think this one will work, because who is he getting attention from? The survivors are off the table because they're the things he's using to get the attention he wants, The spectre doesnt bother to interact with the killers so i doubt he knows it exists, he cant interact with Lobby NPCS, and almost all of the killers either are unable to communicate with him, actively dislike him, or have no connection to make him want to get their attention. The closest you can get to that is 1x1x1x1 and even that their only canon interaction is 1x1x1x1 letting him play with their minion, they dont even do it themselves. Sure you could say that's exactly why he's trying to gain their attention but what is he trying to get out of it? It'd be just as effective bothing them until they blow up at him.
Fun? I dont think so either, like i said before he hasnt been said to be the type to kill others for fun. Even after the initial shock he'd have to work day and night to dehumanize the survivors and even if he accomplished that i severely doubt he would be taking jabs at them like he does now. Cause to do that he'd need to recognize that they are people with things that matter to them so he can use it against them, which immidiately would ruin the whole point of dehumanizing them. If he ended up doing it for fun i think he'd end up acting a lot more distant during rounds instead of violant.
Hate? This doesnt fit either. What does he have to have that would make him like this but also wouldnt make him start out like this?

This one isnt as character based but i feel it's just as important. C00lkidd. Being. Unaware. Makes. Him. Stand. Out.

Now let's shuffle them and swap c00lkidd's for his violant counterpart.

Cant find him anymore, can you? It'd be easier if it was "Attention" but it still wouldve blended in pretty well. A lot of the draw of concept is that he's different from the other killers. He doesnt know what's going on, he doesnt mean to hurt people. If you remove that and replace it with him being violent then you're just left with another killer who's just cruel and that's their entire personallity during the game.
Reducing c00lkidd to a killer is an injustice to his character and feels very out of place for his story. That's all.
