If gay people were allowed on Voyager they could have done an episode where a patient accuses the Doctor of being homophobic and he goes to the rest of the cast all shirty like this is absurd I can't possibly be homophobic. I'm a hologram I don't have human prejudices. And B'elanna (she's bisexual in this version) would be like well to be fair, you are a heterosexual hologram so the Doctor's like what's that supposed to mean and she's like well you're only attracted to women right? Maybe you need to check your privilege. And he'd be like I think it'd absurd to suggest I'm privileged when I'm literally a hologram and she'd be like a heterosexual hologram though.

then he'd storm out all angry and go and install some gay subroutines so he could fuck a dude on the holodeck and then go back all smug like see I can't possibly be homophobic :) and B'elanna's like I support you in exploring your sexuality but I found out what you said to that patient and it was pretty offensive and he's like AUGH!!!! Actually at the end of the episode Tom Paris goes in for his prostate exam and is Iike listen before we do this I need to know if you uninstalled the gay subroutines and the Doctor is like I fail to see what relevance that has to your prostate health Mr Paris and Tom's like I'm just not sure I'm comfortable with you touching my ass if you've still got the gay subroutines and the Doctor is like Mr Paris I'm surprised at you. That's a very offensive attitude. Do you think a gay medical hologram can't be professional whilst performing a prostate exam? This is very homophobic.
