SIDETRACKED LOGO DESIGN
In the end of 2018, I was asked by anĀ acquaintance of mine if I wanted to design a new logo for the company he worked at. This is the final result!
As one of the images explain, Sidetracked is a company that provides a very unique tool for content creation in games and animation. They wanted a logo that is professional as well as creative, showing movement but also elegance.
The final version was inspired by handlettering where the top curve of the S has been extended in the digital version.
I suggested dark purple as the main colour as none of their competitors use purple at all. Out of the suggested accent colours, they chose the teal but also liked the gray version so much that they got both in the end.
The logotype is very soft and in lowercase letters to create contrast and avoid having the logo looking too stiff and serious. The font used isĀ Odudo Soft created by Thom Niessink
If you want to see it in action, check out the implemented logo and accent colours on Sidetrackedās website!
CITY ICONS FOR HOODIE DESIGN
Got the task of creating monoline icons based on Spanish tourist attractions in Barcelona. The design is to be used on hoodies made for a study trip.
Featuring (from left to right) Arc de Triomf, Torre Mapfre, Sagrada Familia, Torre Glòries and Park Güell.
The font used is Chelsea by Antonio Rodrigues Jr.
MEDICAL ICONS
A handful of icons for an assignment about nurses where I had to use a limited colour palette!
SPEKTRUM // PACKAGING DESIGN
A line of gender neutral skin and hair care products where colour and typography are in focus. This is the fruit of my graduation product and itās by far one of my favourite projects! It was very exciting to research this topic and challenge the very gendered norms in the industry.
To read more about the concept and see extra pics, follow this link to my Behance!
And a big thanks to the many people who participated in the survey and/or the interviews! For the ones curious about how it went, I got the best gradeĀ ~
SHIP ILLUSTRATIONS FOR LOG SYSTEM UI
A handful of 55 vessels illustrated for a log management system for the shipping industry.
Seeing as the user interface for the system would be mostly text, I was tasked to illustrate the list of vessels a worker can choose from to show which one(s) they're certified to work at.
Originally, only one version was supposed to be made but I went to the developers and we agreed it would be smarter to have different levels of details in order to be responsive.
The level of detail varies due to the mixed reference photos I could find. There wasn't an archive or the like I could work with and a lot of the photos weren't high resolution or from the right angle.
ICON COLLECTION
53 icons developed for the branding of the company I was an intern at
All icons were made in 4 different colours/styles and here theyāve been categorized as well (top is marketing, middle is a mix of technology, social media and sales, purple is video)
EVENT FOLDER
A quick lilā assignment where I helped my home town making this folder for their late night event.Ā
I originally went with red and blue but the client insisted on using green instead of red (the normal colour of their logo seen on the frontās bottom right is green as well)
EVENT BOOKING APP
This was one of my projects during my internship: an app for event booking.Ā The idea is that it combines room/location booking with your food order instead of doing those two seperately.
I was asked to develop the concept as well as the design thus I spent a lot of time researching booking systems for catering, venues and hotels.
The primary goal was to give the user as many different options as possible to reduce lenghty communication with the venue. That's where my experience as a waitress paid of because I know exactly what special needs a venue has to take into account (like wheelchair users, high chairs for babies, food allergies and vegetarians/vegans)
The demonstration in the GIFs are recordings of Adobe XD, a prototyping program I had to learn for this project.
PLACE CARD LETTERING
I donāt get to do much lettering recently so I take every chance I get:Ā Iāve always been asked to write the names on place cards whenever my parents have people come over so hereās the result from the last time I visisted them!
PORTFOLIO ICONS
A bunch of monoline icons I made for my internship application back in 2017. The top line is probably not as obvious as the rest but are as follow (from the left): branding, illustration, a row of books and packaging.
REMA 1000 MILK CARTON | Packaging design
For our big assignment in packaging class, we had to rebrand the private label product line from the store Rema 1000. This is the one I chose to print and fold!
SIMPLE RICE PACKAGING
A little assignment for packaging design. We all had to design a box for rice in various categories and I got the discount (low price) category. I originally wanted some holes in the box, especially on the side for measuring the amount, but it would be too expensive to make and didnāt get through.
In the bottom we have some colour variations for other types of rice!
JORIE & THE RIVER OF FIRE | Book cover
At long last, I finally got the physical copy of the book I designed! That only took 3 months longer than expected (thanks to communication and shipping issues)
Anyway, this was my big summer project: I was asked to make the 3rd installment in a fantasy series. The illustrator from the previous books wasnāt available and thus I was asked if Iād ever made a dragon (which I hadnāt, making this my very first dragon as well)
I didnāt have much control of the layout in order to resemble the previous books but I had a ton of fun with the illustration and title. I offered to make a custom title for this book and future publications (because it looks so much cooler than a regular font)
Finally, shoutout to my artist friends Lea BĆøje, Sandra N. Andersen and Gitte T. Jensen who shared their advice on painting, and to my boyfriend as well (who made me a 3D model just to be sure the red light source from below looked right!)

EMMERYS | Visual identity
The result of our 2nd year exam where we were tasked to give the Danish bakery chain Emmerys a new visual identity.Ā My focus was the high quality products and ingredients. I originally went with a very art noveau looking approach. However, I did want it to look modern (to make them stand out among competitors) and borrowed elements from art deco by bringing geometric fonts and patterns into it.
This was by far one of my funnier projects, buying their products and ingredients, then arrange them in various patterns. You can see all of the photos, including behind the scenes photos and alike, on Behance (where there isnāt a 10 image limit)

WIP: THE MENTAL ISSUE | Magazine
The result of our magazine assignment. The task was to find a common theme/art direction in groups, then go in different directions individually. My group went with the theme of looking at the world through the eyes of artists.Ā
I chose mental illness as my topic. Due to negative stereotypes, I wanted to give a new, nuanced view of mentally ill artists. The magazine combines facts and science with interviews and personal stories. The ābigā article focuses on two artists and which possibilities their illness brings them instead of just pain.
The art direction is never consistent which was what we discussed in groups. Each article looks different because it depends on the artist and/or their artwork. This is best displayed in the articles about Yayoi Kusama and Stephen Wiltshire:
For Kusama, I made a grid that was based on the perspective in one of her rooms. I then put various works of hers into the different sections and finally used as little text as possible (with a sassy quote, of course).
Wiltshireās is actually based on guidelines that make text easier to read for autists. Those guidelines included use of black, white and blue, a simple sans serif font, no walls of text, and the use of lists.
I put those two together in a fold out article because I didnāt feel 2 pages would do them justice but 4 pages for each looked clunky as well. Both of their works are massive in two very different ways and seeing as this isnāt exactly a conventional magazine, I thought it was fitting.

āMADE YOU LOOKā | Illustrated book
For our final book assignment, we had to make an illustrated book with a topic of our choice. I decided to go with the design of environments in video games, particularly Journey (my favourite game of all time).
Seeing as I already have the Art of Journey book, I got the text from there while all of the images were found online on various websites.Ā If it was a real book, the cover would be "normal", then have a dust cover in vellum paper with the title cut out!
The idea of the fold out page is to see the tapestry map (that you see in the game) with screenshots of the respective areas. On the backside, you see the names of the different levels.
