i just wanted to say thanks to everyone that gave me their opinions/advice about my work question earlier. i really appreciate it! i'm going to talk with someone tomorrow. although i don't think they'll change their minds and i did sign a temp. contract. although, i'm trying to do a bit more research in my work policies and tips in dog separation during fights like recommended.

two dogs nearly fought on early wednesday and later again the same day (i had to pull them apart before it got even crazier & then a coworker did) so that's why i'm worried since it'll be just me tomorrow. i'm still new too so i'm surprised i'm already going to be by myself.

okay, i would just like opinions please.

at my job i basically get paid to babysit dogs. all kinds. but if there were ever to be a fight between any of them i have to intervene. like get all up in their faces and try to pull them apart. even if it results in me getting hurt. which is a big possibility when it comes to trying to split up two dogs fighting.

do you think this is okay? or should i not have to intervene? i get wanting to keep both of them safe, but usually once they start it's hard to get them to stop until they are finished. (although i know sometimes the results can be bad) i was just always taught to never try to stop a dog fight and i don't know where i stand on this subject and i have to work by myself tomorrow. any advice/opinions would be appreciated!
