Mech pilots aren't even needed anymore. Yeah they don't do anything in there, it's all handled by the onboard Ai. We just pretend that they're doing stuff because its easier to explain that we've got a fucked up human in there than an Ai that's smarter than twenty people piloting the giant metal death machine.

Yeah sometimes the Ai and the pilot have some weird phsycosexual relationship but it's easier to just let that happen. Besides it keeps both the Ai and the pilot in place, so who cares if it keeps a person as a fuckpet?

Imagine comforting your F/O while they're on their period:

❤️ If they experience cravings, you make sure to jot as much of it down in your notes so you can run some errands and get them everything they need. From sanitary products to their favorite snacks, your love will be pampered and spoiled like they deserve to be!

🛡️ If they're dealing with cramps, you'll bring them some medicine, water and something nice and warm to place on their tummy! If you're away, some texts to remind them to take care of themselves may be a lot of help as well

❤️ If they experience mood swings because of their period, keep in mind that any overly harsh or snappy things they say aren't genuine. If something they say makes you upset they'll apologize and give you affection and reassurance, just like you do for them when they feel down and clingy

🛡️ If their body feels sore or achy during their period you run them a warm bath, giving them a nice and soothing massage afterwards, helping them wind down for bed and get nice and comfortable. If the discomfort persists, there's nothing a painkiller can't deal with, as well as some tasty treats of course

❤️ If menstruation makes them dysphoric you make sure to remind them that they're not defined by their bodily functions, every living being is entirely unique and so is the way they perceive life and themselves! Any gender can experience this and your F/O is no exception and you're more than happy to remind them that they'll always be valid and perfect, no matter how dysphoria makes them feel!
