Flower Festival: Alpha Medical Center

Although she was only bringing a few flowers for a couple people, Maru took care not to bring them too close to the patients visiting the clinic. Wouldn’t want to aggravate any pollen allergies. She gave Dr. Ford and Elli each a pair of yellow roses, a pair of freesias, and a sunflower.

Oh dear Yoba. Who even--? Maru was flattered, but also absolutely baffled. Flowers from coworkers and family was one thing, but from a complete stranger? She hasn’t even been on Leuda very long, and already she had received a gift from some mystery person. And weren’t pink peonies one of those flowers meant to signify romance? Hold on. Did that mean... she had a secret admirer?! She felt her cheeks suddenly grow warm. No, it couldn’t be. Clearly, they just meant to convey the flower’s other meanings. What was it again? Something like good fortune? Yeah. That must be it.
