āOut of all how we mets iāve had to tell ours will always be my favorite.ā
My brain is a lot more anxious than Iād like it to be, but with you I feel calmer and safe

The voice
The voice I can pick up from across the room; even when there is a lot of noise and I canāt decipher the words it speaks. The voice that changes depending on who heās talking to - going from deep and professional when in a meeting or on the phone, to a softer and freer language when with friends, to mumbling under his breath when heās annoyed, or even the shy awkward and quiet complimentary tone that I have only heard once. Iāve heard them all, and while others may not be able to tell them apart, itās easy for me.
Itās the voice that I have memorized; the one I hear in my dreams and play on repeat while I stare at the ceiling when I canāt sleep at night. Itās the voice thatās smooth and soft like velvet, but can sting like a rattlesnake bite when angry. Itās the voice that belongs in his mouth; with his kissable pink lips, his amazing smile, and his imperfect teeth. Itās the voice that seems to suit his tall pale redheaded frame. The voice that has stirred butterflies in my stomach and inflicted pain to my heart equally. It is his.
it doesnāt work that way
you canāt tease a girl with a relationship for months on end, then as you lean in for a kiss: abandon her telling her as you do āyouāre worth itā because I can promise, she wonāt believe you.
Know who you are
Know what you want
Know what you deserve
And dont settle for less
Please, keep looking. Not for a person, but for your passion, your love, your courage, your goals, your dreams, your happiness, yourself. Keep looking. Explore yourself before you explore another. Know your worth, know yourself. Only then will you know what you need over what you want. You need yourself to become your own.
need this
Clear your mind here
Y'all ever just suddenly have the overwhelming urge to swim??? Like not actively but you just wanna,,, be in the water and have some Peace
Solitude is dangerous. Itās very addictive. It becomes a habit after you realize how peaceful and calm it is. Itās like you donāt want to deal with people anymore because they drain your energy.
Jim Carrey (via purplebuddhaquotes)
I love him because he told me to give myself a little credit when I deserve it. He was the first one who asked me to put myself first for once without looking at me with sad eyes. He looked at me and told me to do those things with the understanding that in the end, it all boils down to my decision. And for me, thatās the most genuine and the greatest bit of compassion Iāve ever received.
Wondermaster
Maybe it was the way he talked. With a voice that was sweet and sweet like honey. Maybe it was the way he smiled. With a slight curve of the lip. Maybe it was the way he looked at me. All love and kindness like I was something to be admired. Or maybe it was the fact that at three a.m. when the world was crumbling around me I could always find stability in him
3 a.m. thoughts from the lucky one
In 20 years, when my daughter asks me who my first love was, Iāll think of you. I will think of nights spent talking until the sun came up. I will think of the way your smile lit up my heart. I will think of the lessons you taught me, both before and after your broke my heart. And I will look down at my daughter and tell her your name, Iāll tell her how much I loved you, how dangerous it is to love somebody that much, how I had to learn to put myself back together again once you left. But Iāll also tell her that none of it matters as much as it did then, Iāll tell her that it doesnāt hurt the way it used to, Iāll tell her that itās important to put your heart on the line even if it means breaking it somewhere along the way. And Iāll tell her that you taught me one of the most important lessons you can ever learn: that you deserve someone who knows how to love you.
