NPD culture it's thinking that you're immune to having an FP until your FP has turned on you and you have one of the worst break downs you've ever felt. I'm so angry that I let anyone ever get that close to me. Besides, they were meant to be so pathetic they would never turn on me in the first place. You think you can live without me? Then I hate you! I hate you more than anything!!

I wish I wasn't so relieved they apologised to me, as if I needed them. My NPD has had its lows but never have I felt it made me so embarrassed and pitiful and I need to find a way to remove this person from me.

npd culture is trying so hard to care when someone is venting/upset/having mental health issues. and sometimes you kind of can to some extent. but sometimes when someone is having a mental health issue you used to have but have worked through to some extent, it feels like “come on ‘we’(read: i)’ve been through this stuff already there’s no need for this” and not being able to care about it.

it really sucks to be someone who’s actually not good enough

in the sense they can really have so much better than you in most senses

not being to offer certain things or being able to do certain things that are normal for others to want really makes uou feel less than

idk! literally not being able to measure up to others in the most basic ways creates such a visceral reaction to others being able to just live and be normal without the qualms uo have to go through, without having to be such a tremendous burden on others. it’s not fair i didn’t want to be like this or hurt or disappoint anyone! but i just keep failing
