Meet the Searoo! It's a large marsupial that has taking into the marine habitats of the sea specifically the sea grass meadows. Their diets are predominantly sea grass but will occasionally snatch shellfish to supplement their diet. They have strong forelimbs that they used to crawl through the sea bed while the hind legs are the powerhouse when it comes to swimming. Their locomotion are similar to that of otters but a bit slow and heavy. Searoos live in huge groups for safety when trying to graze in the sea while also resting near the beaches of their home. The pouches of searoos are used to carry food in the beaches while being still used for their joeys aswell. Mother searoos can often be observed swimming on their backs while carrying their joeys in their pouch. Searoos can stay for about 30-60 minutes underwater ensuring that they can graze sea grass as much as they can.
