Iām late and I know it, so Iāll just get straight to the point.
So, chapter 188 opens with the face off between Kunigami and Agi and I feel like I gotta say, besides the 2 goals heās managed to score so far, Kunigami hasnāt really shown a lot of progress during matches, in my pov; does anyone else also feel the same?
On another note, Iām happy to see Agi acknowledging Isagi though.
Then, Isagi is reminded of the match up between Noa and Lavinho, but this time, he is much better prepared and far more capable of reading the flow of the match, so that he can correctly discern his next move. He sees what Agi intends to do and he plans to steal the ball from him, as he tries to move past Kunigami.
Too bad heās not the only one whoās had that idea.
Kaiser thought of the very same thing and because of that, the English team still has possession of the ball, as neither one of them could gain control of it during their scuffle.
Also, SOMEONE BETTER TELL KAISER TO KEEP HIS HANDS TO HIMSLEF, IāM DEAD SERIOUS HERE!!!
Then, we can see that the ball that Isagi/ Kaiser were supposed to get, is now in Reoās possession, who is determined to prove the worth of his and Nagiās combo.
And Nagi remarks that he can clearly see the image of Reoās goal. This reminds me of their teamwork from the past, when Reo was the one with a vision that he entrusted to Nagi.
I wonder if things will be different now.
As we can see here though, that isnāt what the doctor, or the coach, prescribed.
Bastard Munchen may be slightly surprised by what Reo is doing on the field, but Agi clearly disagrees, as he sees that Nagi is moving according to Reoās ideals, instead of developing his own creativity, like Chris had instructed them to do.
I have to say, at this point in time, I agree with Agi; itās not like Reo and Nagi are always going to play together and unless they can become the best versions of themselves without relying on the other, I donāt think theyāll get far.
Still, this is Blue Lock and what matters are results, so letās see whether there is indeed more than meets the eye to this combo, this time.
Letās see if they will be able to score.
Because so far, all I see is a Reo whoās ecstatic to have been told by Nagi that he needs him.
All I can say is that that should have been an āI want youā, not an āI need you.ā, in my humble pov.
Really canāt get how Nagi seems so happy here to put his all into support for Nagi, his new chameleon style and his flow, just so he can become an extension of him.
It may work or it may not; unlike their previous combo, this one seems more centered on providing use and opportunities for Nagi, kind of like what Isagi and Rin had, in the match against the former U-20, maybe.
Now, itās only a matter of whether theyāll both be able to live with their choice, no matter the outcome.
