Predominantly Strophaia & Ichiro/Aeshma focused. I see their relationship as familial, platonic, romantic AND guy-and-his-critter (both ways) all at once, none of which is more strong or true than the other, they all have to exist together. 20. love language/way they show affection

via just lots of physical touch lmao, like, in the anime practically every time he and his precious little pogchamp Aeshma/Ichiro were near each other he just wont stop fondling him. he'll throw his hat off just so he has access to his hair and start manually maintaining his lil hair tuft. If he really likes you and has easy access to you then he won't ever leave you alone. You will feel that parrot on your skin every second you are conscious. No escape. He's also not very familiar with the human concept of "boundaries" and "personal space" he was born in like 1000000000000000000 bc that's like explaining minecraft youtuber drama lore to a medieval noble

29. quirks and personal habits

Can't really sit still for too long at a time, he's always either just flying around or doing something with his hands or just fidgeting or twitching or whatnot. I don't think he gets tired that easily either so he's gonna keep moving until he eventually 30 days later finally lays down sleeps for like a week and then resumes. Also cannot survive boredom not having anything to do is excruciating to him he needs so much enrichment in his enclosure...

In terms of like, worse habits, he starts plucking out his feathers whenever he's stressed. Maybe he had way more (and a thicker layer of) feathers before canon, but ever since the Parenthood arc and then the They Took The Fucking Kid arc he pretty much brutalized himself beyond recognition which also made his skin itchy which then made him start scratching at it 24/7. and flinging himself against walls in despair. And every single self-destructive distressed bird behavior that exists

Aestro swap AU where Ichiro is some 40 year old dude living in a cabin alone in the most haunted woods on Earth and survives fully off of spirit, bison meat, death caps, fire, crack, vocaloids about mass murder and cash he earned via selling all his organs to Satan. One day he finds some fucked up looking angel baby in his garbage bin which imprints on him like a duckling and so he decides "yeah why not" and raises him like the son he never needed but deserved. Strophaia's an ipad baby sits on his shoulder like a pet parrot only ever eats hotcakes and literally nothing else and has separation anxiety that makes him start eating his feathers every time Ichiro leaves to go to the bathroom without him. Their personal version of The Incident is that Shingo and Mephisto came over one day left the solomon flute somewhere on the floor and forgot and Strophaia got curious played it and jusr accidentially fucking killed himself or something . still a placeholder subject to change until I feel like thinking again
