Maybe talking about school wasn’t the best thing given how Seiji was quiet throughout most of the conversation. The old Hoon would’ve bragged about living in the city and all the things he done, but the male had grown up from being so self centered. Plus he wasn’t so sure if Seiji really wanted to sell fruits, he never really talked about something he wanted when it came to work. What would he do otherwise? Hoon tried and bit off more than he could chew and ended up back home where is was safe. “I’m fine with that. my mom can cook them. It can be a mini pot luck and a nice way to end the summer.” Hearing Seiji laugh was brightened the mood, “That’s true,” Hoon nodded, “Buying it frozen or at a restaurant is ok but a fresh catch from the day is the best. Some people really miss out.” He drank the rest of can and reached for another one, he lost count how many each of them had before. However their bond was getting stronger with them talking or rather it was what they weren’t talking about it. Still it was nice to have another male to talk too. Hoon’s dad would dominate the conversation and belittle his son while most other males he didn’t get along well for a variety of reasons. A question popped into his mind but he decided not ask. With classes coming soon Hoon hoped that him and Seiji would have one together.
He sauntered back into the room and placed the empty beer can on the short coffee table, throwing himself on his back as he stared at the ceiling not long after. “Yeah~!” Though his posture suggested a lack of vigor, if anything, his voice was as excited at ever. “We can do that~ I love the fish Grandpa catches. They’re always so––– fat.” He tried to think of another word to describe them. Fresh? All the fishes were fresh, they were just caught after all. But his grandpa always managed to catch the fat ones and that’s a plus for Seiji. “Aaa~ Yeah, speaking of which, how’s your mom?” Though he generally got around town, hearing bits and pieces of news regarding everyone, he almost never heard of Hoon’s mother. Or father. Or anything about his family, really. It’s like they’re trying not to talk about them. Like they did with his friend who fled the town. Like something bad would happened if they did. It was silly. They were not by any means cursed, if such a thing even existed. They just stepped out of town. That’s all. The beer cans on the table were now empty. Not a single drop left. He hadn’t think they’d actually be able to finish them all. But they did, after all. “You’re a pretty strong drinker, aren’t you?” His words were mixed with a chuckle as he nudged the other male playfully with his feet, his body propped with his elbows as he grinned at him.

Although the other is looking rather put out for being cuddled in the unforgiving heat of Strobe’s summer, Lu Han is extremely pleased with himself for managing to somewhat give a hug before the protests started. “I don’t care.” He simply states, smiling to himself as he watches Seiji get as comfortable as possible on the shared bed. “You’re not even returning all the love I give you, I don’t even know why I bother.” He huffs, pout naturally taking place on his lips as he tightens his hold.
Being so close together and warm all over, breeze coming through the window to help settle the mood, Lu Han is almost asleep when what sounds like a confession gets to his ears. “What.” He says plainly, eyes widening comically while he waits for an explanation that never comes. “Who is it? Do I know them? How often does it happen?” Lu Han all but fires out, hand finding place in his friend’s shoulder to shake his entire body to show his excitement.
“I’m a little jealous, but I’m willing to look past it if you tell me everything! Please, Seijiiiii.” He keeps on whining, repeatedly nudging their foreheads and keeping their faces close as curiosity takes the best of him.
Sleep was coming to get him in the lull of the heat. And he was almost dropped off by the dream lake when his childhood friend suddenly jolted out of the blue in response to the mumbled out information about his life. He let out a long and loud groan as he turned away from his friend, desperate to catch that sleep they had come up here to get in the first place. Yet luhan was relentless and knowing him, Seiji should have just given up right away instead of trying to fight him. He was stubborn when it came to things like this. Turning again to rest on his back, he put his hands behind his head and started to stare at the ceiling sleepily. “Uhh...It’s this girl that moved here a year ago? Two? I’m not sure....” His brain was fogged up and he couldn’t exactly catch the details. He wasn’t sure if he could pin point the time exactly right or even how they started to do what they did. He never cared much for details after all, which seemed to peeve his grandmother off and gotten him a laugh from his grandfather – saying how much alike his mother he was in that aspect.

His words were almost inaudible, her ears straining to catch his hushed whisper. The big secret didn’t seem like such a secret to her, but she had grown up in a big city where it was common for high school girls to get pregnant. She understood why, in a small city like Strobe, there would be chaos following an announcement like that. Aria preferred small towns for their peace, quiet and secrets though. It was why she had decided to move here in the first place. “Wow.”
The girl lifted her finger up towards him, letting him know that she’d be back in a moment. She got up from her seat to order an Americano, craving the familiar feeling of invigorating coffee in her bloodstream. Once she got her drink, Aria sat back down opposite to Seiji and stared straight at him as she took a long sip of her drink. "I meant a nice introduction would have done well. Haneul’s talked a great deal about you the few days before I came here, only good things of course, but still. An introduction is always necessary. Something with flare maybe.” Her brows raised at him as she took another sip of her coffee. “Considering I do know things about you that the people in town don’t.” The feeling of having something over someone made her feel all the more confident to tease him back, though he was almost a stranger to her.
Her fingers tapped themselves against the table as she watched for his reaction. “I’m sure you have some bits of information on him as well. Something embarrassing that I could maybe tease him about for all the things he might have over me.” She knew her eyes were glimmering with mischief, a trait that Haneul had often whined about her having back in the States, but it was all apart of what she thought to be her charm.
She was right, he guessed, in a way. “Okay. My name is Seiji, though you know that already.” He started his introduction. Confusion was all over his face – an introduction was, for him at least, a process where one gives out their name. And he didn’t know what else to say. “My family owns the fruit shop?” What else could he say? There’s nothing interesting about him. But if it could pacify her, as she had seemed rather peeved about the lack of introduction, he’d give it to her. He’s never one to go around looking for a fight. Actually, her whole aura was sort of...red. Brimming red with confidence. Too much of it. Maybe it’s a big city flare that he just didn’t get the appeal of. He relaxed back into his chair as he tried to think of something. Han-chan and him had been friends for so long, even if it was something embarrassing for other people, he’d probably thought of it as normal, hence the long pause as he tried to fish from his memory pond. “You’re evil, you know that?” He smiled as he joked playfully. It wasn’t the fact that Han-chan left the girl that made him uneasy about having had defended him. It was the way he talked to her and rejected her before he fled. But that’s a secret even Han-chan didn’t know of. “Well, he was kind of cool right? So he would always try to charm his way to get better grades or skip out of class duties.” He also ate his booger as a kid, but he’s a kid back then, does it even count? He though at the back of his head.

Seeing Seiji’s excitement was rather amusing most people just went to college because it helped them climbed the social ladder. Then again very few people even mentioned getting anything beyond a bachelors degree. “Business I almost have to go especially if I want to be a CEO or something like that. I don’t want to work then have to go back to school...you know get it all done in one go.” Hoon got his gesture and tossed him another can. “That’s ok, I can catch a few…. sometimes.” he laughed, “nothing like a grilled fish that you caught yourself. It tastes better.” Hearing that question caught him off guard he rarely talked about his time away. Anyone that was interested knew he was on TV for a while he didn’t become a celebrity he wasn’t a nobody either. “…welll…I just… wanted to come home. It was fun at times but it was hard too.” Hopefully that was a good enough answer for Seiji to not ask anymore questions. There were some things that happened during his time in the capital that he would rather keep quiet about it. If anyone knew especially his mom Hoon would’ve been back in Strobe much sooner. He tried to find the silver lining of it all, he gotten to experience life outside of his hometown, meet people and go places he otherwise wouldn’t.
He was kind of deflated at the mention of the major Hoon was going to pursue. He only took business because his his grandparents had asked him too. And by ask, he meant really pushed him into that direction, frowning the second he declared art as his major. As such, he didn’t know why anyone would want to voluntarily took business, of everything, to be their major for grad school. He guessed it made sense, “...if you’re aiming to be a CEO.” he mumbled his thoughts out loud, sipping from the can before resting his head on the wall. The other’s answer was certainly unexpected. There was something in his tone that made Seiji felt as if he was holding something back, hiding something at most. And he understood, they were not the closest friends. Yet it sort of felt deeper than that. He refrained himself from poking his nose where it didn’t belong though. Hoon didn’t felt like talking about it, that much was clear. So he steered away. “Yeah? My grandpa was such a good fisher. Maybe we should ask him too, that way, we’d for sure get a fish or two to eat.” He laughed and when he did the unease that was starting to settle down between them quickly evaporated into the air. “Fresh fishes always taste real fresh aren’t they?”

Hyunki headed down the street completely opposite of the area this random person on his phone was. He allowed himself to walk down the main street as his eyes combed through the stores around him, in hopes to find something to occupy his time. He knew that in the end, he would just go back to his house and take a nap if he left now, so he decided he would just go shopping. He needed some new clothes, because all of them were used up for dancing and working out. So as he received a reply a few moments later, he pulled his phone from his pocket and smiled softly with the reply he got.
[ sms - shadowed ] Not really, mainly just random theory books to look into. [ sms - shadowed ] What about you, mon cher?
Ahn was never really one to dig deep into things, so he figured that this person could be fun in the long run. Perhaps not knowing who this was would be a good thing, or something. He didn’t really know. Heading into a random store, Hyunki began his search for some things to wear around work and school, pursing his lips as his hands whisked through racks.
He was lounging on the bench still, watching as the clouds came and went from his eyes. His hands behind his back to cushion it from the harsh surface of the hard material of the bench, he took in a deep breathe and inhales the fresh air of the pre-autumn weather. Summer had come with a burst of vitality and joy and now it’s going to go away in a husky whisk before blending into autumn. He hummed happily as a small smile played on his face. He liked noticing the subtle changes in nature. It made him aware of things. Good things. The phone in his pocket vibrated and he reached his hand into it. His fingers fished into his pocket, long digits curling around the cold metal before he pulled it out. The smile that played on his face turned into a mischievous one as his fingers started to dance across the screen into a blur of movement. [ sms - hyunkiki ] theories? about what? [ sms - hyunkiki ] don’t tell me a conspiracy? :O He wasn’t sure what he had expected out of his reply. Maybe he had no expectation at all. Though it was true he knew of the man, they never gotten to know each other personally. And Keigo enjoyed this fun banter between the two of them. They never talked this much to each other after all. And the pet name perked his curiosity. Did he call everyone by that? Mon Cher? He went to google the words as he waited for Hyunki to reply to him.

The moment after the male had taken his hand off her mouth, Aria gave him a pointed lip and pressed her lips into a thin line. “I’ve never lived in a small town, so help out here. Is it just a you thing to be absolutely rude? Because I don’t even know your name and you just put your hand over my mouth.” Her voice was level as it always was, yet there was no denying the edge that had snuck in to it. She leaned back in her chair, attempting to read his face.
He seemed troubled about the whole situation and she felt a pang of guilt for snapping at him. He was noticeably uncomfortable with the topic of conversation. “Han-chan,” she emphasized, her voice slow and quiet, “is doing well. Last time I checked up on him, he said he had a job at some big shot company in Seattle. He’s doing well.” Her arms found themselves folding across her chest as she continued watching his facial features. “Now are you going to tell me your name and why you put your hand over my mouth earlier or should I leave and go around town about him?”
There was a sheepishness in his smile though it was still heavily cloaked with a sense of insecurity and caution. He cocked his head to the side as the girl in front of finished her sentence. “You know me though.” He started, his voice dropping low, matching her volume. The calm music that surrounded them was the complete opposite of the tense atmosphere that befell the two of them. “You addressed me by my name as you walked in.” He was unsure why he should say his name again when clearly she knew it and clearly she had heard of him from Haneul. Leaning back in his chair, he took his glass with him and took another sip, hoping that the sweet tartness of his iced peach tea would be able to soothe the discomfort that had started to bubble up his chest. “No. We don’t talk about that here in Strobe. I’’ll tell you about what happened but you are not to speak of this matter to anyone. How’s it?” It wasn’t for his own benefit. Were she to go around asking people about this matter, she would really be ostracized as well. People here were peaceful. They didn’t like scandals. They didn’t like dirt. And what happened between his friend and the girl was both. “He uhm–– He got a girl pregnant in high school.” His voice was just above a whisper by now. He didn’t really want to talk about it. In such a public place no less. He was just glad that today was one of the more quite hours for the cafe. “And, as you had said, this is a small town.”

Everything is exactly like he remembers, and he can’t help the giddiness filling his chest as they walk around and make their way to the bedroom. “I’m sorry! I didn’t know it was so soon!” He explains, voice whiny as he throws his hands in the air, and he’s still mostly laughing at their childish antics. Their bodies have grown and developed, but sometimes it seems like their minds have not, and Lu Han finds that he is totally fine with that.
“Why? Are you afraid you’ll be seduced by my hot body smashing yours against the wall?” He teases, eyebrows wiggling and teeth biting onto his lower lip in a ridiculous manner, even more so than the pose he pulls off, hands resting on his waist as he squats. It’s really a scene he’d only do in front of close friends, Seiji being on the receiving end of these foolish acts far too often. After a few seconds, he cracks up in loud laughter, clapping his hands unnecessarily excitedly as he decides to finally climb in bed, having to maneuver over the other’s body.
“Wow.” He mumbles as he settles down, back against the mattress, huffed giggles still escaping his lips. “It’s a tight fit for both of us now, huh.” He comments, noticing how close he and Seiji are now, even though they are occupying the whole bed. Lu Han smiles at the ceiling, nostalgic thoughts flooding him all at once, all of that edgy excitement coming again, and he has to turn on his side to subdue it a little, limbs wrapping themselves around his best friend. “Do you miss me? When you don’t have me to cuddle at night?” He singsongs, closing his eyes.
He snorted quite loudly at the words that left his friend’s face. “No, you’re such a messy sleeper, you’d crush me eventually and I’d die of broken bones.” He rolled his eyes though his tone was ever so playful. They were on their backs for a while, shoulders and arms pressed together as they tried to fit into the bed that was too small for them, in a room that was too low for them. Seiji kept his eyes fixed on the ceiling. The were little markings there, in the shape of stars – reminiscing of the glow in the dark stickers he used to put up there as a kid and peeled off as he reached middle school. The air was musky as always and he could hear the sound of wind blowing in through the open window. He closed his eyes. Salvaging the feeling, tasting the memories that were so thick in the air. And for a second or two he felt as if he was falling down a rabbit hole. Sinking. Sinking. Drowning. He kept going further down the lukewarm dark water where he could see nothing in front of him. Not a light nor a ray of sunshine. Then he felt something heavy pressing against him. Opening his eyes as glancing at his friend, he saw that Luhan had draped himself all over him. He sighed and chuckled slowly. “Oy–– it’s hot enough without you all over me.” He nudged his friend and shifted a bit so that he was laying on his side. Eyes half-closed with sleep, he mumbled out his reply. “Mmm, not really. I have someone to warm up the bed sometimes.” He never told the other about the girl who sometimes spent the night at his place. But that wasn’t important, right? It’s nothing serious after all.

Despite his laziness, Lu Han is pretty quick to stand up, fist in the air to celebrate this little victory. “Yes!” He almost yells, jumping and turning around himself a few times as he waits for the other to close the shop up. He knew the possibility of being denied were small, but they were there nonetheless, and the previous silence was killing his hopes. Now, he had all the reasons to be cheerful.
“I’m coming!” He replies, running after Seiji when he realizes he was left behind in the midst of his upbeat spree. “Don’t leave me alone.” He huffs out, pouting once he reaches the other, hands pushing the other forward and playfully hitting his back a few times. “C’mon, I want to take a nap.” Lu Han looks around as they enter the house, neck snapping from side to side to take everything in, although he’s pretty sure nothing’s changed – maybe a few new pictures here and there, but overall, the place is exactly as he remembers it. “Wow, it’s still the same, huh.”
He almost forgot about the stairs and sent the two of them face-first onto them though. Sighing, he keeps pushing his friend, climbing up and smiling once he sees the elders of the house. “Hello, nice seeing you again.” He politely bows, waving to them once he straightens up again. “We’re taking a nap, okay?” Lu Han tells them, already tugging on Seiji’s arm towards where he knows his friend’s room is.
If he were someone else but himself, he would have been taken aback by the drastic change displayed on Luhan’s face. But he was Seiji after all. The Seiji that had been by Luhan’s side since they were toddlers. Twenty something years, he’s sure he had seen everything there was to be seen and knew everything there was to be known about the other guy. So He just shook his head as he gave a defeated chuckle and let the other drag him around as if they were at Luhan’s house. Their little trip around the old house was full of laughter. Heads that were too tall bumping at the worn wooden beams and long legs clumsily climbed the stairs that had became too short for the, unlike when they were just kids. The greeting towards Seiji’s grandparents had been brief and full of laughter and smiles, just as always, before they scuffled into Seiji’s room. It was as if for a moment time had stopped and rewinded itself back to the long gone days of the past. And behind their giggling selves, the old couple shared a fond smile as they looked at the two best friends. Glad that at least their grandson was able to find such a good friend as Luhan. “Honestly! Did you forget the house had a stairs?” He asked his friend as he was gasping for breath. The bed creaked lazily as he threw himself on it, head resting on the wall behind it as he looked at the other. His bed wasn’t a big one but as a kid, it always felt like something a king would sleep in. Now, as he sat on it, his feet scrapped the floor below and his body was forced to bend in an uncomfortable angle. He never seemed to notice how small his room was. “Well, I’mma take the left side of the bed. I don’t wanna be trapped between you and a wall.” He laughed again as he stretched a bit before finding his comfortable spot.

One, two, three. Three seconds was all it took for Aria to have the stranger’s image locked in her mind. Her friend from Seattle had sent her a picture of him and the friend he talked greatly about, the “glorious savior,” as he had described, that was to owe for the fact that he was stateside. Without a moment’s hesitation, she opened the door to CAFE4U and immediately began scanning the cafe for the face. The photo she had was taken many years ago, no doubt, but her friend had said this guy’s face hadn’t changed in all that time.
The stranger wasn’t sitting too far from the entrance. With relaxed steps, Aria approached the table he was seated and situated herself in the seat in front of him. “You must be Seiji. Jake’s told me a lot about you.” She smiled as she leaned back in her chair comfortably. Spending just about half her life in the States only added to her blunt personality, making her feel instantly comfortable with just about anyone whether they were older or younger.
A moment had gone by in silence and he hadn’t said a word in reply. “Oh- Right. That was probably a rude introduction.” A sheepish, almost apologetic smile. “I’m Aria from Seattle. Which is where I met Jake. You might know him by a different name though. What did he say his Korean name was… Choi…. Choi Han…” Three seconds had not been enough to remember his other name from the message he’d sent. “I know your friend. The one that’s hiding in Seattle from some girl.” Her mind was searching, his name just on the tip of her tongue. “Ah! Choi Haneul.”
She walked with ease and confidence and he greeted him with a smile and a raise of his eyebrow. Taking a sip from his glass he listened to her only to give a squint of his eyes as she mentioned the foreign name. He hadn’t known anyone by that name. Jake? Sounded foreign. Sounded like nothing the citizens of Strobe nor anyone he knew. But then she corrected herself and he immediately gave a small “ah” as an acknowledgement. “Han-chan!” He called out the name he hadn’t said in years. They had been real good friends in high school. Best friends, even. Though they were never exceptionally close or anything the years before. He hadn’t known where the boy had escaped after the whole fiasco. It was nothing big but in a small town like this, it was shameful. A stigma that would follow you forever. And Han-chan had money. So he fled. They kept in contact for a few months before they gradually grew apart. Last he head he was in China. "Ah yeah yeah...how is he?” But then his brain seemed to have processed her words and he immediately sprang up his seat, his hand covering her mouth as a lone finger pressed upon his lips, indicating for her to quiet down. Getting back to his seat, his whole air was different. Tense. Uneasy. “Uh yeah...about that....we don’t talk about that here.”

(( strjung )) The girl was new. And Seiji liked new things. When you’re living in a small town like Strobe, it’s only natural to be attracted to everything, no matter how small or trivial it was. Like a crow attracted to shiny things. That’s Seiji. So when the new girl had asked to meet up with him, who was he to say no? He agreed and had promised to meet in CAFE4U, probably the latest addition in town, although even that wasn’t that new. The place was quite small yet the atmosphere in it was very welcoming and relaxing. And very modern in its simple design. It’s probably the one thing that attracted the young population of Strobe to it. He sat in the table near the window, it was the farthest from the cashier and other people but that’s not the reason he chose the table. He just liked the sun. He sat, his iced tea in front of him, the dew around the glass starting to drop down to the surface of the white glossy table. His eyes glued to his phone, on a game particularly, as he waited for the girl. He wasn’t sure what she wanted out of him but he’s about to find out, right? And he always liked surprises.

Hoon was slightly jealous hearing that since the other male would have more freedom in his life, “I got about 2 years left but it might longer if I go to grad school.” It all depended on money if he continue or not, he was just barely getting paying for school now. Well more so his mom, whatever money he earned during his “famous days” was long gone. Hoon was careful to not rock the boat or upset her since she was sole reason he was able to go to school in the 1st place. His high grades were a thank you for her doing that, it was the least he could do. He just noticed Seiji sitting on the balcony, not like he had many options to sit inside. Finishing what was left of his drink he opened another one and drank. Guess he was really joking about Seiji drinking 5 by himself. Hoon wondered if this is how he spent most of his days after work then again being from Runa meant they live further out from the downtown. Plus most people who lived in the area didn’t have much money to on luxuries. However they were more honest and hardworking people well according to his mom anyways. “Say you’ve gone fishing this summer?” he asked out of the blue, “we should do that sometime.”
His eyebrows arched in amusement at the other’s reply as he scooted back into the room, yet staying close to the sliding door. “Grad school! Cool! What’re you gonna study there?” Seiji himself had taken the arts major with a minor in business – marketing in particular. He had been the vice president in high school and had gotten a minor cut in education expenses. But then again, Strobe university wasn’t as expensive as other universities outside. He wasn’t sure about what to do after though. He knew he had to take over the fruits shop regardless of what he wanted to do. He put his empty can beside him and motioned with his finger for the other guy to toss him another one. “Fishing? Sure. It’s been long though.” He laughed as he remembered his last fishing trip. It was with a few of his friends during the beginning of summer. They had ended up swimming in the river though, sharing laughter that got carried into the summer sky. “I’m not good at fishing though.” He warned the other playfully before he chuckled again, the sound soon died out in their empty apartment. “Hey, I always wondered. Why did you come back here?” It’s sure to be fun outside right?
a stroke of stupidity;
strjaeho
Jaeho wasn’t normally like this. He wasn’t eighteen - he could very well control himself and whatever…urges…may lie ahead of him. But then again, he’s a man. And men have unfortunate urges and needs at unfortunate times.
Hence why he had isolated himself by taking refuge in a janitor’s closet.
It was a sporadic and slightly unnecessary thing to do. In fact, it was very unnecessary. Jaeho could have easily ignored it if it weren’t for his current attire. The scrubs clinging to his body were made of thin material which was both a blessing and a curse: a blessing during the hot summer days and a curse during the winter months and at times like this. Everything and anything could be viewed through his scrubs and Jaeho knew that. Even the undergarments beneath his clothes did nothing to conceal what was happening to him below the belt, despite that fabric being both tight and slightly constricting. So in Jaeho’s defense, he really did have no other choice other than accepting his fate and doing what needed to be done as quietly, quickly, and cleanly as possible.
Hand beneath the loose fitting pants of his scrubs and boxers, skin came into direct contact with skin and Jaeho truly tried his hardest to be quiet. It wasn’t too difficult of a task, considering he had spent his teenage years in an apartment surrounded by family members and would do this kind of thing at night - usually with visual aids in front of him to further excite the hormonal male as well as other supplies to help deal with the messy and sticky aftermath. Though quiet, there still was this small chance that someone important, perhaps a head doctor, surgeon, or anyone above the nurse status wise, could somehow open the door and find him like that. The odds of someone like that opening a door to this particular closet were highly unlikely, but Jaeho still tried to conceal himself as much as possible with his back facing the door though the hand motions from behind were terribly obvious even from where he was sitting.
Every once in a few month, Seiji would accompany his grandparents to the hospital. It was really his grandmother who’s in need of the regular check-up. But his grandfather always accompanied her. Saying he needed the check up too but really, most of the time he just stayed by her side and held her hand. They would share a smile or two and talked through their eyes and Seiji would be somewhere in the corner of the room or roaming the hospital – the building had become somewhat a familiar place to him from the many visitations he’s had. His feet took him around the green hallways, the ray from the sunlight penetrating through the windows. It was no longer the glaring, burning sun of summer. It was softer this time round. Like a mother’s caress, it was gentle and full of love. His mind wondered off to his own mother. He had her smile, people always used to say. A big, warm smile that rivaled the summer sun. A smile so sincere and so bright. Out of all her features, he remembered her smile the most. The top half of her face was always a blur. Yet her smile was so vivid and true. He ran his hand through his hair as he flashed out a bitter smile. Something you didn’t usually see on him, something only reserved for himself. His feet stopped on his track and he leaned on the wall, sliding down the painted pastel green surface and covered his face with his hand. That’s when he heard something from behind the wall. Noises of rattling things, grunting. With eyebrows stitched up together in a frown, he put his hand around the knob and turned it around. The light from the hallways hitting a male figure jacking off with his eyes closed. In the middle of the hospital. Still in his scrubs. “Uh...okay.” Definitely wasn’t the sight he expected to see but then again he hadn’t known what he expected either. “Aren’t you supposed to be....” He squinted his eyes as he judged the other for a few seconds before turning his head towards anything but him. His hand scratching his head. “...I don’t know, working?”

There had been a mad dash out the front door and down the stairs to exit the apartment building, but once outside Honggi was in a full sprint to recover the runaway laundry before the wind carried it further or someone happened to come across them and take what wasn’t theirs. Despite the crisis, there was a funny quality to his predicament, and as he heard Seiji’s footsteps following him and the younger boy chuckling it wasn’t long before Honggi joined in and was attempting to suppress his own laughter while he ran. “This would only happen to me,” he bemoaned to his friend, though it was difficult to take pity on someone who said this through giggles. It was just too ridiculous.
The question brought his attention to the pair of undergarments that had thankfully caught itself on a piece of shrubbery, and as his gaze landed on the colorful, childlike boxers, Honggi’s eyes widened in horror. “A-Ah, no!” Hurrying ahead to grab them up, he wadded the material as small as he could possibly scrunch it, holding it between his hands as he continued to chase the rest of the fallen clothes. “These are Yoongi’s,” he explained as he shuffled forward and ducked down to grab up a shirt that had finally landed in the grass. They really did belong to his brother, but the likelyhood of Seiji assuming they were Honggi’s and teasing him either way was rather high.
“We’re missing another shirt,” he remarked as he slowed his pace, not seeing where that one landed and not wanting to scurry on and somehow overlook it. Turning himself in a complete circle, he glanced around with his brows knit in thought, before he spared a glance upwards and immediately groaned. “… Oh. Of course,” he muttered, reaching one hand out and pointing up at the shirt, snagged on a tree limb and dangling much too far out of their reach from the ground. “That just figures, doesn’t it?” Puffing his cheeks out in frustration, he exhaled the air in a huff-like sigh.
He only shook his head as his body trembled slightly with laughter, making his pace slowed down by a bit before they came to a stop as the pieces of clothing found themselves stuck on branches and shrubberies. Not exactly clean and Honggi might have to wash them all over again but it’s certainly beat the other option of having to run all around Strobe City. It might be a small town but a marathon around it would still be tiring. Seiji had honestly never noticed the clothing, much less their colors or even prints. But as Honggi exclaimed and tried so hard to hide the bright pink cotton within the pam of his hand, he couldn’t help but felt the tiniest bit of curiosity and mischief peaked up from within him. “Is that a bunny? On a pink....what boxers?” A snicker shook his body as he walked closer towards the other, eyeing at it as the other kept his hands busy with the other clothes. He could have let it go. It’s probably true it was Yoongi’s. The boy had always had a knack for cute things. But he wouldn’t be Seiji if he just dropped the case, wouldn’t he? “I mean– It’s okay to have cute things you know, Honggi. People love it when men get uh–– in touch with their sensitive side.” He sniggered, eyes gleaming with an impish glint. Following the other’s trail of sight towards a tree branch, he scrunched up his nose before grinning from ear to ear. “How about this,” he started to open a proposition, “You know I’m good at climbing.” It was true. between the tree of them – Luhan, Seiji and Honggi – he was the best at climbing trees, though that didn’t seem to benefit him in any way. “What if I climb up that tree and get your....whatever that shit is and you admit to the whole apartment complex that it’s your underwear?” The expression on his face matched that of a cheshire cat’s and one could have sworn they could see a tail swaying from side to side in a slow mischievous way if they squint hard.
