umm maybe i should do an introduction post...

hi, i'm Santiago, or Diego for short 😊 i'm 20 years old and i use he/him pronouns. i am very passionate about Bug types and i want to learn everything i can about them, that's why i decided to get my Trainer's license and leave Accumula Town to travel through Unova. nice to meet you! ^^

now that i have a bit more of free time, i wanted to see if i could get back to Pkmn IRL in some way shape or form. not promising anything because the future is inscrutable but at least i've reopened the tab in my browser so at least i can keep an eye on my Pkmn IRL dash. maybe reblog some stuff. maybe interact with other blogs? tbf i feel quite detached from my existing blogs so i'm not sure how that will go but i'm trying to keep my mind open to possibilites. i wanna get back on the grindset >:[

There is something truly beautiful about how bug Pokémon are physiologically so different from humans, and yet we are still capable of living and working together as partners and friends--that we can find common ground, despite being practically alien to each other.

Oh, do you have any tips for raising Larvesta? I've never raised anything that wasn't a dragon or ice type and I mean - I've done my research since I got Summer's egg but uh, yeah - any tips would be super helpful! If you have any! :)

They eat more than you think. Larval Bug-types and Fire-types both tend to have high food needs, so the combination results in a much larger food intake than you'd expect from a Pokémon of their size.

Also, fire training is mandatory. Many Fire Pokémon understand by instinct that it's unwise to set your surroundings on fire, but Larvesta don't, so it is very important to train them only to use their fire in controlled settings. I do not normally advocate this, but in this case, you may want to keep her in her Pokéball when unsupervised until you are confident she's gotten the hang of it.
