Hello everyone, my name is Hallie (22+) and this is my Emma Swan RP blog from the ABC show Once Upon A Time. While I am not Jennifer Morrison, I will be using her as my face claim. Please check the verses as some will be based in the Enchanted Forest, others may be in Storybrooke both pre- and post-curse as well as crossover fandoms. "Good morning, Emma!" Storybrooke may not be their home of origin, but it had been Ella's home for twenty-eight years. And as such, they celebrated the holidays that were common in this land without magic.

"Happy mother's day, do you and Snow have any fun plans?"

To be celebrating Mother's Day still had to be one of the strangest things for Emma. Not only did she finally have her mother in her life, but she also had Henry and Hope. Her own children, she was a mother. That was still such a strange feeling for Emma to be experiencing. "I think mom said something about lunch at Granny's but if Hope doesn't settle down I think it may just turn into coffee at home." A small chuckle left her lips as she spoke to Ella. "Do you have any plans today?"

“Maybe I can help?”

When it came to Henry, he always thought that he could help her. She guessed that it maybe was because she gave him up that he was making up for lost time. That could easily explain how he was always behind her, shouting comments that always seemed to make perfect sense, even when she least expected it. "Henry," her voice softened as she bent down to be at his eye level, the whole being a mom thing was strange and concerning for her. How was she supposed to look out for him? Even when Regina was always making sure she was the only one looking out for him. "What do you suggest we do?"

It was strange to have him in her life again. Henry. Her son. The one she gave up only because she believed that he deserved a better chance at life. Not even knowing she had a son in jail, for ten years, Henry was just a child she had given up. Unaware of all his features, but now as she sat across him at the diner, a share of curly fries and their own respected burgers. Surprisingly, even though there is hot food in front of them, instead of root beer floats, the pair shared hot chocolates with cinnamon. “I guess you called me here for more Operation Cobra information, what have you found out?” They had recently parted to try and find more information around Henry’s fairytale theory surrounding Storybrooke. “I haven’t seen anything new in the office, other than Leroy constantly being pulled in for drunk and disorderly, but I am told that is normal.”

Emma could completely understand why it seemed as if she was coming off strong. She was in fact an approachable person to many - unless you were Leroy - but she also was the protector of Storybrooke, of Misthaven. “Well Marisa, welcome to Storybrooke, I promise the stares will eventually go away. We get very... wary of new travelers. I do apologize in advance for what you may experience. I trust this town, but we have a few, overprotective community members to put it lightly.” Some of the townsfolk were going to corner Marisa one day, Emma could feel it in her bones. Something else she felt was that this woman wasn’t all that met your eyes. 

The dæmon was definitely something new for Emma, if she had blinked in that moment she was sure to have entirely missed it, but for the savior, there were no barriers that she couldn’t penetrate. Out of protection, her own hands glowed lightly while being crossed over her chest. Silver glow shone against her red leather jacket for a blink and you’ll miss it moment, opening herself up for questions, or at least open this town up to Marisa as somewhere to be entirely herself. It was only fair, everyone else in town got to, why not her? “It can certainly be fascinating if you allow it to be.”

“What’s so special about it?” ( from Mal )

In her hands was a necklace that Emma hadn't seen in years. Not since Baelfire had left for a life on the run. His was a name never uttered again, not on the Isle or in Auradon. In her hand, was a pendant in copper, with a silver swan with their neck bent. Hiding in plain sight from the world. Just like Emma had for many years. A princess with a love for the dark, for the misunderstood. The princess who loved the pirate stuck on the Isle. Her hand closed over the pendant as she shoved it in the pocket of her dress, at one point she had convinced Evie to add pockets into everything she wore.

"Just something from my past, Mal. Believe me, it isn't important anymore. Not as important as breaking down the barrier." That had been Emma's goal ever since the barrier was raised, ever since her future was cut off from her. "It's just a memory," her voice broke as her eyes welled. Emma quickly blinked them away before Mal could even notice.

"You know, I actually did." Emma called out from behind the counter island in her kitchen. Mulan knew of Emma's open-door policy so as soon as the savior heard Mulan's voice carry through the front of the house, she popped her head up and directed her eyes to where her feet were. "You're going to want to come around here," she had her hands gripping tight on the floorboards that had at one point been loose, to now being entirely out of place.

The reason Mulan was even in her house was that she saw the warrior out for a run and she was in desperate need of assistance because under these floorboards were weapons. It seemed to perfect to be a coincidence that Mulan was the one walking past. "Do these look familiar to you?"
