sooo we don't really know how the honmoon picks next gen hunters, but that's a topic for another textpost anyway. what interests me right NOW is how celine managed to snatch zoey.
"what about mira?" listen. mira is in korea, somewhere relatively nearby. if her parents are rich and important as we all imagine they are, they are not hard to track. plus, i'm sure that, as much as they wouldn't want someone of their legacy to end up as an idol (what a horrible career choice!), they wouldn't mind someone taking care of the source of their headaches. so they give her to celine without much negotiation.
ZOEY THOUGH??? okay, yeah, you might argue that she probably moved to korea and then celine found her, but please, bear with me, and imagine this:
celine having to go to the united states to find this girl and snatch her. a roadtrip. and she has to bring rumi along (are we talking kidtrix, preteentrix, teentrix??). just imagine that chaos for a moment.
nosy karens on the street stopping to ask celine why her daughter's hair is purple and celine just error-ing because daughter??? and also fuck off, none of your business.
rumi devouring burgers in the motel while celine's outside explaining to an officer that she does not illegally possess two swords and that the security footage is in fact fabricated and—
celine having to actually argue with zoey's parents (who are also arguing with each other) about taking her to korea to raise her as an idol (and then her dad asks "what the fuck is an idol, are you starting a cult???" and then her mom faceslaps and says "darren, ugh, it means a pop star, please stay out of this" and then he's like "she's my daughter, too!" and then her mom says "we'll see what the divorce attorney has to say about that" and celine is like "so can i take her or🧍♀️"
