Best opening ceremony I've ever been to
Day 23 in China
Finally did some work for one of my other modules - Chinese theatre this time. And I finally found a great true crime podcast for background when I doing a study session. Crime junkies of Spotify is a really great listen. It really helps me focus on both my work and what's going on which is cool.
Day 22 in China
Finished writing up lesson 3 of my language notes still have a bit left to do for my other classes. Unfortunately started to feel a little ill. Turns out I'll get freshers flu no matter the country I'm in so did a small study session in bed after my nap. I always have to remind myself to look after my body first before pushing myself.
Day 20 in China
20 days in China have really flown by feels like I just got here. Finally visited the city centre today I can't believe it took me this long. The shopping centre there is huge it has an ice ring 3 basketball courts a skate park and a baseball court its amazingly insane.
Day 19 in China
Finished my second set of lecture notes for my chinese lessons. I finally feel like I'm settled in, it took a little longer than when I'm in England but I expected that much being on the other side of the world. If anyone is thinking about studying abroad, in china especially make sure you get a VPN talking to friends and family back home really is essential.
Just finished my notes from my first chinese lesson. The nice thing about heavy rain is that I'm not tempted to go outside and so studying is a lot easier.
First day of uni Abroad and I'm so excited. I cant wait to be learning mandarin in a classroom setting as well.
Great night out full from the amazing food and even better company, it true that the friends you make abroad are really friends for life.
I have a feeling I'll be spending alot of the next year in here. Well air conditioned no noise very relaxing. A great working environment I wish all libraries could be like this.
Best opening ceremony I've ever been to. The performances were truly beautiful and have me so inspired to start the new academic year.
The water features on campus are so relaxing
The view from my apartment in suzhou, china
Fight one of the 2 everything is going smoothly so far it still doesn't seem real
In 24 hours I will be landing in china I'm so excited and a little nervous. This is going to be an amazing experience but man do I hate flying😂
All packed and ready to fly out
